This is a great local spot and a must visit place when I’m in Madison. The food is amazing and the atmosphere very relaxed with rock inspired theme and background music that does not drown out the conversation. I had the special which was a pasta with red pepper flakes and I added the shrimp which was awesome!!

Husband and I dropped by for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we got seated right away and our server greeted us and got our drinks and took our order quickly. The atmosphere is great! They play really good music from the 60′ 70’s and 80’s. The decor is a throwback as well…album covers on the walls…photos from the same era. It was just a good and groovy vibe.

This place is awesome!!! We went on Italian night apparently. We had the steak and asparagus, and I ordered sides of fettuccine Alfredo and rigatoni vodka. The service was amazing. They were full and we were seated right away and got our food in less than 30 minutes from arriving. The garlic bread app was crispier than I prefer but delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the asparagus was crisp and the sauce was great. It’s a little pricier than some options around here, but worth it. Especially if you’re vacationing. Splurge and you will not be disappointed.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. We loved the decor and feel of the place. We were seated in the back room which was very comfortable. The outdoor seating also looked nice, but it was a bit cold and windy during our visit. Our server was excellent, and the food was delicious. The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. The only negative I could have is that the hours are limited, so check before you go.

We recently visited for the first time and loved it! I really enjoyed the rock and roll decor and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and provided great suggestions from the menu. The food was great! I loved the Mad Love salad and maple dressing! The menu had selections for everyone! This restaurant is a great addition to Madison! Give it a try.

We visited on a Friday evening during the busy time of day. We were immediately greeted by a warm, inviting and friendly smile. The food (shrimp appetizer ) was an amazing dish. During the meal, we discovered the sauce was one of the owners special recipe. The remaining meal and service was absolutely perfect ! Thanks to Kim for the warm inviting atmosphere. Thanks for sharing your story. !

Worst, most humiliating dining experience ever and we didn’t even get served. We got there at 7:15. Ordered drinks and appetizers about 5 minutes in and told waitress we were going to wait a minute to order entrees as we hadn’t decided yet. Took awhile for apps arrive and as we were old friends meeting up at this recommended restaurant we weren’t too perturbed that our waitress hadn’t returned to take our order. At a few minutes before 8 we flagged down our waitress as we felt we had waited long enough to order. We caught her as she was delivering food to the adjacent table and she told us that the kitchen was now closed! She asked us if we would like her to send the manager out. The owner of the restaurant came out and basically screamed at us catching the attention of the whole restaurant. I told her I would be happy with anything she could bring us. She said she was tired of dealing with entitled people. Expecting to have your dinner order taken at a restaurant is not entitlement. I had waited all day to eat as this restaurant came highly recommended and I love Italian. I stated I would be happy with anything she could bring us that was left over from the kitchen. The owner stated she was not having this conversation and I left extremely disappointed and hungry. She could have offered to have a table for us the following night and apologize and this would have had an entirely different outcome. It was the waitresses mistake but it was up to the owner to make it right. Literally all she had to do was apologize and offer to have a table ready for us the following night and I would have been satisfied. During the owners long rant she also stated that her chef had walked out in the middle of the evening without any notice. He probably got out of there none too soon. Her mother was hosting that evening and she tried to calm down the daughter at which point the owner screamed at her mother that she didn’t give a #$_+-.

Overall, not a horrible experience. The place is honestly a bit crowded -tables very close together- but the decor is cute. We ordered the sirloin and found it to be underwhelming- it was overcooked and overseasoned…and very small. The cheese sauce is excellent though! Loaded fries were very good, but not a lot of cheese so if you like cheese ask for extra. The special for the day was a turkey wrap and it was good. We had the chocolate cake and it was not bad but nothing special.
