Usually order the hibachi and it’s “ok”. Have been ordering different lately and it’s much better. The General tso chicken is really good and so is any Udon noodle dish. The Sushi is below average, but it’s the only sushi I know of in Defiance.

They are always so quick to make my order. It’s always delicious too! Best sushi to get around Defiance, Ohio. I miss being able to eat inside, but the food is so good I’d rather then stick to take out and keep their business open (especially with how hard Covid was on businesses) then go out of business.

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years, and I’ve never been disappointed by this restaurant. I usually get sushi, but their bento boxes and hibachi meals are fantastic as well! I’ve had sushi from quite a few restaurants, especially in big cities, and I honestly believe Yamato’s is some of the best I’ve had. They are quick and timely with getting orders out the door and they have great employees!
