One of the best burgers I have had in a minute. This restaurant had some interesting decor. I loved the hometown feel. The menu is pretty basic. They were out of the “redneck appetizer” unfortunately. I was looking forward to trying it after seeing other reviews. This restaurant sits across from an old car junkyard. Definitely stop by and give them a try. I will say our service was not great just adequate. Looking forward to coming back to try some of the other menu items.

We went in thinking this would be good home cooked food…wrong! Everything had a just pulled out of the freezer and cooked taste. I had the hamburger steak and was very disappointed. It was a frozen patty that was still pink in the middle and the gravy was a brown tasteless paste. The Mac and chesse bites has a burnt grease taste. The Brunswick stew was right out of a can. We have lived in this area our whole lives and this is the first time we have tried it. Now we know why no one talks about it. Cause it’s not work a darn. And when we told the server that my steak was still pink. I got a “I’m sorry, your bill is $….”….didn’t care. If your wanting good home cooked foods with flavor don’t go here.!

We stumbled upon this place after a local hike and we were AMAZED at how much music they created in my palate. The place is effortlessly hillbilly cool with bad taxidermy and license plate decor, apparently it’s been around 20 years. We started with the “redneck appetizer”, a mouth watering combination of onion rings, barbecue pork and coleslaw and the hits just kept on coming with fried corn on the cob, country fried steak and more wonders than I can even describe. We’ll be back again and again!
