Soon good, food was a slightly smaller portion then I’m use to but still feeling. The drinks where great and the service was fast smiling and helpful to answer questions. I wish I had taken photos of the food cause it looked as good as it tasted.

I’m from Arizona where we have numerous excellent Mexican food restaurants, and El Sombrero can rival all of them. The food is AWESOME, and the prices are very reasonable. I appreciated thatasks were required upon entering which promotes safety of guests and staff. 5 stars.

As far as sit down Mexican restaurants this is a great place but not really authentic tasting Mexican food. The flavor is a bit more muted for the American taste but the serve and portions are great. Expect to pay between $10-15 per plate.

The food was alright, however the server wasn’t very friendly. Might just depend on the night we went, but wasn’t very friendly and charged us for another table that was twice our amount AND he didn’t even know how to refund it back so he had to give us cash to out back in the bank. My advice be careful when you go because you never know when you’ll get over charged or charged wrong. Not coming back ever.

The waitress we had seemed impatient and generally annoyed. I kind of felt like I had to apologize just for ordering. Plus, two of our orders contained refried beans, even though we asked for whole. Luckily, the waitress caught it and took it back to the kitchen (although I always feel bad when they do that). Otherwise, the food was decent, not particularly above average. Not the best place to go if you’re vegan/vegetarian, but that’s just like most other Mexican places.

Being from the Great State of Texas, I have high standards for my Mexican food. Food was mediocre at best. First Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that did not have queso. I gave two stars (vs one star) because it’s a decent value.
