Ordered takeout from here (ordered from both menus— mallards and charley cat) and this is a GOOD chicken sandwich! I had the Korean BBQ sandwich and my husband had the Nashville hot— two thumbs up for both! The kids (4 and 6 years old) were happy with their Mac n cheese and grilled cheese too— those can be a bust sometimes but these were fully eaten! Fries stayed crispy. We will be supporting this small business again! Highly recommend.

I’m a spicy chicken sando guy. I’ve been around, I’ve tried them. Texture, look, and cook was on point. Everything wasn’t enough though. The pickles weren’t pickly enough, the slaw want slawy enough, the chicken wasn’t spicy enough, and as a whole not salty enough. I even got the ghost pepper one and asked for extra spicy, extra sauce, and utensils and napkins. Got none of those things.

I felt the chicken on the inside was Juicy and crispy. But was burnt and salty. Service was excellent, atmosphere was good. Nashville heat was spot on. Quality was way better then Canes or Chikfila. Will try again.

The chicken was very crispy even after the drive home it held up great! Sauce was just spicy enough and the included sides of toast and pickles were very good. The Mac and cheese was lacking some cheesy-ness but was creamy, you might want to skip that depending on your personal preferences. Dipping sauce also on point I appreciate those compostable cups they used for them.

Me and a few friends love D-Spot in Oakdale, we have been looking for a good chicken place around Forest Lake. We are now in luck! We gave Charlie Cat a try today and were wonderfully surprised! We got the standard Nashville hot sandwich. It was not as spicy as some I have had but it had a perfect balance of spice and sweet from the pickles and coleslaw on top. I have now become a fan and will see you once a week! I highly recommend!

The Nashville chicken sandwich is really good. Chicken cooked to perfection, very flavourful spice, homemade sweet pickles (I think), good quality bun. In my opinion the coleslaw was a bit boring

The Nashville Heat Chicken sandwich is quite possibly my favorite chicken sandwich of all time. Highly recommended if you can stand a little heat. Great flavor and the coleslaw and sauce compliment each other very well. If you get delivery just make sure you don’t wait too long after it arrives because the bun can get a bit soft with all the sauce. The mac and cheese is very good too if you like a lot of pepper, very homestyle feel.

Saw this as a new place to try and all of us were impressed. Tried the Nashville hot tenders and they were juicy tender and just hot enough for me enjoy all 4 pieces. The comeback sauce is their spin on a dip and it paired well with everything. Also tried the Korean BBQ sandwich and loved that too. Highly recommend trying this place as everything was really good. Only thing I can point at is the toast while ok wasn’t toasted long enough in my opinion. Not docking a star as it’s personal taste on toast. Decent size bread I will say and 2 pieces extra to go with the one that came in the meal was a nice idea.

I really enjoyed my ghost chicken sandwich! First time ordering from here and the flavor on this one was out of this world. Very spicy but still able to taste the slaw and the pickles. Love that brown sugar rub you use . Will definitely order again
