I feel that this place is underrated. Oppa is great and it has the potential to be more! This is hole in the wall authentic. Don’t come here thinking it’s a grandeur building because it isn’t. It’s small and homey but the sushi is worth it. Service was good – didn’t hover and explained which rolls were placed where on the plate. We did have to ask for a water refill but it is one person serving/greeting/seating and he had a lot going on between others dining in and picking up take out so, give some grace! Miso soup is given complimentary when you are seated. It had a great flavor, a little room temperature but the tofu was cooked just right. We had the Red Dragon, Oppa Maki, Tornado Maki and Rainbow. The Tornado and Rainbow were our favorites! Their sake was light and mild, which I really liked (and I’m not a Sake fan). Reasonably priced sushi for being in Boston, averaged $30/person for our meal. If you’re looking for somewhere low-key and has quality, check out Oppa!

My friend and I came here looking for some Korean style sushi. While their menu was limited than I initially expected, we were able to find the spicy fish bowl soup which is a popular dish in Korea during the summer. The bowl came with an icy cold broth and vegetables that enhanced the refreshing aftertaste. The classic combination of thinly sliced squid and the sweet and spicy broth was nice, but the broth was too sweet for my taste. We also had the regular sushi and the scallop yaki, but both were unfortunately mediocre at best.

This would make a good date night spot. After walking down a couple of stairs to the entrance and sitting down in a booth with moderately dim lighting, the setting feels intimate and cozy. The service here is also very quick – we were in and out in less than an hour.
