Wonderful, delicious, authentic Cajun eats. My go to lunch here is the brisket po’boy with a side of Brussel sprouts. If I’m with other, I’ll get the hush puppies too.

Really liked everything about this place. The hush puppies were delicious. The catfish and shrimp Po Boys were both delicious. Only thing I did not like was the cocktail sauce. It was VERY heavy on the horseradish. If you really like horseradish then you’ll love it, if not it was overwhelming. The shrimp Po Boy comes with a heavy serving of the cocktail sauce on it so if you’re a first timer, I suggest getting it on the side. The tartar sauce was delicious though, I think the shrimp Po Boy w tartar sauce would be amazing, definitely trying that next time. Just heated up our gumbo, I’ll let you know how it goes!

Quaint local place. Excellant service. I had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was excellent. It was alot larger then i expected but that way i had some for later. Outside tables with delightful music playing, plenty of shade and these great little fans that also keep the bugs away. Cant wait to return.

Excellent food, particularly the Saturday special beans and rice. I overlooked this great place for months because of its unhelpful name— I thought it was a carpentry store.

Got there close to closing and they ran out of bread for Po’boys but it allowed me to try other things on the menu. Hush Puppies are a must and I need to return SAT. to try the beignets.

How this place doesn’t have 5 stars across the board is beyond me. I’ve grazed through the reviews and they make no sense… 4 stars because the side of sauce was too hot? That’s Cajun food sorry. 4 stars because you ordered food that’s not your particular liking in the first place? How is that a reflection on the establishment? Everything about this place is 5 stars!!!! This is grade A creole cuisine across the board

This place is amazing, its a small spot walk up, walk away, a few tables. Daily specials, the service was top notch, felt like family! If you’re looking for some good cajun style food look no further. I am in love with this place after 1 visit. I will be back…so many specials id like to try.

This visit was much better than my last. Probably just more of what I like than a reflection of their quality. A very popular place. The Tuesday Special was amazing and full of flavor. My first visit was a shrimp po boy and I wasn’t a fan. But like I said nothing against them I think I didn’t order to my liking. The staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh. Don’t delay if you want the daily special they will sell out. Give this local business a try.
