My visit here today was great the food was cooked just right and tasted delicious, but I always find it to be a waste of cabbage that is placed under the chicken katsu because I don’t know anyone that actually eats it.. everything was the best especially the cold soft serve of the famous Dole Whip Yumm!!

Met two older gentlemen from Hawaii there who were waiting for their order. They said it was authentic, just like you would find back home. The meats were delicious. The sides of steamed rice and macaroni salad were basic, but tasty. They also have a lot of other side options I didn’t order. Would go back again.

This was my first time trying Big Island BBQ. I had a very friendly aloha greeting and they took the time to explain the menu to me. I really liked the grilled chicken and macaroni salad. The shredded pork had a delicious taste with a little smoke flavor. It was good with the crunchy cabbage. Love the feel of the restaurant. Highly recommend you give it a try and support a small family business.

Finally Hawaiian BQQ in Folsom!! Had to try this place out and was not disappointed. The workers are all friendly and it’s nice and open inside. Unlike some other Hawaiian BBQ places I’ve been to, the tables and inside were all clean and in new condition. Overall, we really liked the food and it’s very filling! Will be back again.
