Behind the gas station is a new food truck with amazing Louisiana-style seafood boil. It doesn’t have all the flashy signs and music like other spots on the island but this food was excellent!! You can get shrimp, mussels, scallops, crawfish, catfish, etc. there’s corn, potatoes, sausage, chicken wings, fries… and daily specials. Plus the boba tea which was delicious, too. The two guys working there were super friendly and kind. This is a hidden gem! If you want legit seafood and incredible flavors— and to support a newer business on the island, check this spot out. we’ll definitely go back soon!

We were heading to the beach and looking for a place to get subs. After reading the reviews for Steve’s II we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Probably one of the best roast beef subs I’ve ever had and my husband got the Italian cold cut. Everything about these subs was fresh from the meats to the roll. And the prices were reasonable. Would not have thought to get subs there if it had not been for all the good reviews. We will definitely go back!

While on vacation we wanted to grab a few sandwiches before going out on the kayaks. We hit the deli.. they took good care of us and made our sandwiches exactly how we’d asked.. rolls were good.. plenty of meats/cheese on them.. definitely would like another sandwich from there.. I’m pretty sure we will be stopping in again before leaving the island
