The food is good and it’s nice to get out of town to hang out somewhere else. I’ve been here half a dozen times. Every time the service is terrible. I hope you don’t have anything else planned because you’re going to be here awhile. I think the place is just too big for the kitchen size. Food is good but takes forever. Waitresses wander around and talk to their friends instead of helping you.

Our waitress seemed distracted. If we needed refills, we had to track her down. Everyone’s food was good except for my ribeye sandwich was paper thin steak with too much fat, After cutting off the fat, it looked like a couple pieces of a puzzle on a big hoagie bun. What little steak I had did have good flavor. Everyone else had good portions & were happy with their meal.

My sister and I visited tonight. Our parents owned this place almost 40 years ago. The food is top notch and homemade. When they say hand battered it is. Wished we had a place like this at home. But will probably make a road trip through and specifically stop here. Great owners. Waitress was not very friendly however and kind of inattentive. Other than that little thing GREAT FOOD.

There’s never a bad meal here and the drinks are always tasty. I highly recommend Taco Tuesday. The portions are huge and drool worthy. The taco (sans lettuce) is pictured here and their unique take on nachos are just as delicious!

Great little small town bar/ restaurant! Prime rib was fabulous! The bartender and our waitress were so nice! We took friends there for their first time and they really enjoyed their meals.

Our first trip. I had breaded shrimp..it was a tad spicy but good. The herb pasta was REALLY delicious! The wild rice appeared to have been bottom of the pot because I had some burned pieces but aside from that it was good as well. Wife had chicken and enjoyed it. Atmosphere is family friendly. There were a couple of large groups and it got pretty noisy but strangely enough, the bar side was much quieter. 🙂 Would come again. Nice experience!

Wonderful experience. Service efficient and friendly. Hash browns had just the right light crunch on exterior and hot and steamy interior. Big 18 oz prime rib and a bottle of Bud lite and I was ready for the drive back to Dodge.
