Quick to be seated and fast service. Staff was respectful and everyone seemed happy! Food was delicious and portions were generous. We got the croissant sandwich, German pancake, and chicken fried steak.

Food was amazing! I got Eggs Benedict and it was delicious! My husband got the Country Benedict and he loved it. We shared the German pancake and it was huge and so good. We got a bakery item to take with us, the blueberry danish. Great place!

Very good service and great sweet tea! My sausage platter was tasty – I would recommend the bratwurst platter as that was the best of the three sausages by far! Her chicken salad sandwich was good and filling but not anything special. Their pastries are great and could tide one over if there’s a line for a table, too.

Nice menu of German classics that come out quick and hot. The schnitzel was very good as a pan fried version as opposed to breaded and fried. The potatoes were very good. Pancakes were the thin German style and executed well.

First time in Fredericksburg, and wanted a different kind of breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Had the giant pretzel with beer cheese and a pork schnitzel with red cabbage and potatoes. Soo good. Make sure to ask for a side of white gravy!

This place is fantastic!! It’s worth the 45-minute wait! Our waiter, Hayden, was very attentive, patient, and has a great personality! The entire staff was great! The pastries were delicious.. We got one of each..lol. For lunch we both had the German pancake and Jagerschnitzel ..which was amazing! It’s better than Auslander’s. We will definitely visit TOGB during our yearly trips to FXBG!

Really good authentic German food. From the schnitzel to the beer cheese and pretzels. Even the potato salad was perfect. Been to Germany many times and I could not tell the difference in the food. Very nice service and was not rushed at all and even took the time to char a bit. Roomy seating too and not noisy even with a full dining room. Will go back and can’t recommend enough.

Great food and great service! Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Arrived at 1pm, 15 minute wait for a party of 2. We both ordered the Jaegerschnitzel with sauerkraut. Food came out quickly and was fresh. The pan fries were deliciously crispy and the schnitzel was huge and tasty. Our server was very polite and friendly. Would definitely visit again. If you’re visiting for the bakery, come early – almost everything was gone when we arrived.

My husband and I went here for breakfast on the first morning of our trip. I got the two egg breakfast with poached eggs, ham, and a biscuit. He got the eggs Benedict with hash browns. Nothing was exceptional but that’s expected for the breakfast that I ordered. His eggs benedict was not that great and the hollandaise tasted like it was out of a jar. We also ordered a chocolate chip meringue cookie and it was pretty good. It was a fine breakfast and I’m sure the lunch has more to offer. Their other pastries did look pretty good too.
