Food was great. The guys were very friendly. Highly recommend. This place is family owned and has been running for 4 generations or so. You already know that it’s going to be good, but when my friend and I tried it out it was even better than I thought. These guys are super friendly and told us the history of their area. They also sell meat and cheese for your own cooking. This place is a hidden gem.

I have only recently been introduced to this place. And I have only eaten two things from here. The kielbasas and the homemade SlimJims. Both of which are great. But if you want some, you better get there early. Because once they sell out, you’ll have to wait another day! It’s kinda hard to not trust a place that’s been open since 1929 and passed down through generations. This is an easy 5 Stars

This is a legendary business food is always great. And the atmosphere will blow you away because it’s such an old place of business. It’s like being a little kid again and going to the store and getting fresh salami or something cut and taking home for sandwiches.

I’m the niece of Phyllis May (RIP) and I can guarantee you this is by far the BEST kielbasa you’ll ever taste!!! I just recently moved back to KC and I’m definitely planning on stopping in for some…we used to go over to Aunt Phil’s house for kielbasa sandwiches when her husband (my Uncle Ray) was living…we had the best times at her place…John (RIP) and Linda lived in back of the store not too far away when they were first married…so glad it has been passed down and stayed in the family!!!

Going here is an experience… it’s an odd joint in an odd area, but damn, so good!

Certainly no chain store here. A place to go for the real deal. No shrink wrapped store brand here. If you want authentic kielbasa a must stop! Pick up some great sandwiches while you wait.

This place is a family ran little place that looks like a small store front with great people inside. The food is always fresh and you are treated like family. They make great sausage. Not many tables for sitting, mainly for carry out. Go see and try it out you will love it .

I’ve been coming here for over twenty years…always for the kielbasa. I think it tastes less spicy than it used to but it’s still heaven.
