As there are no Cuban restaurants in Mesquite, I continue my journey across DFW each weekend to try different places. I usually make my discoveries through Google, and pull up reviews on Maps, and became intrigued to learn of this food truck in Fort Worth. I’ve always believed the food quality made from trucks and trailers are great, and I just had to make the trip out here to try a Cuban sandwich! Ohhh…. and It was Excellent!!! The pulled pork was great and tender on a delicious sheet of ham, along with pickles and mustard, housed in the most fabulous grilled-toasted cuban bread, served nice and hot with a big side of pure potato fries! I am impressed! And I’m not a traditional coffee drinker, but seeing they serve cafecito cubano I just had to get me one, as that is the only (and Italian) coffee I love! I would love to come back for another sandwich, but there’s more on the menu I must try. Thank you!

As a Cuban, I was thrilled to see that Lola’s now has a brick and mortar location and we were very pleased with our order which included traditional Cuban sandwiches, yucca, an excellent empanada and, very surprisingly, Mamay smoothies (think somewhat savory watermelon). Very friendly service and definitely will be coming back to try the lechon!

Visiting the area and walked by the truck a couple of times. Read all the reviews (good and bad) and just had to add to the good side. It’s great Cuban food served with a pleasant service and how can you not respect the prices. Thanks for keeping it real. Muchas gracias.

The Cuban sandwich was decent. They definitely have some good things and others are mediocre. I do appreciate them having “Iron Beer” that goes a long way for me. Their coffee was pretty solid too. If you want some decent Cuban food feel free to check this place out.

Never have I had Cuban food until today. I have been wanting to try it for a while. Let’s just say I should have tried it a while back! The fries were on point, the bread on the sandwich was perfectly crisp, and the sauce smokes Cane’s sauce all day! My opinion, it’s worth a try!

It was not the experience I was expecting to have. Service was terrible! Took the girl over 30 mins to take drinks order, then finally brought menus and food came out over an hour later!! Cold and honestly not the best Cuban food we ever had! The few extra sides I order came out after we were done and the yuca frita was under cook and tostones terrible! The portions were very small and I couldn’t tasted the authentic Cuban flavor at all. The vaca frita definitely was just a roast. I don’t think I will give it a second try! I hope they figure out a better way to bring authentic Cuban flavor to their menu and better service.

I tried the # 10 ropa vieja,, it was my first try at this dish but I wasn’t impressed. The flavor was familiar with a taco seasoning I’m a package. The meat was juicy and the rice flavorful so I would go back to try another dish.
