We went to the restaurant seeing great reviews. For the most part the experience was decent.

Good food takes time to prepare, if you’re dining in, order in advance or sit and be prepared to wait. The food is made fresh to order. MoMo, our server, is humble patient, and very patient when asking questions about the food. Our dishes were absolute heaven. The naan bread is soft and fluffy. The salty buttermilk is delightful. A must stop if you’re in the area.

Here is the outside and the inside of the food. I don’t know why they keep it’s name Biriyani. Their chicken of Biriyani was good enough but the Sausages and colour.. (It’s not eatable) I will recommend them to give the sausages separately from the rice and chicken. Afterall, Best of luck for them.! [Every line from my own experience and only for one item “Chicken 65 Biriyani”]

Oh, what a delightful experience! The undercooked shrimp was simply a culinary disaster. let’s talk about the impeccable service, shall we? It was absolutely mind-blowing how the staff managed to handle the overwhelming crowd of… one table. The service was so swift and attentive, it felt like we were the only customers in the entire universe. Truly remarkable! And let’s not forget those oh-so-generous prices! Who needs affordable dining when you can pay a small fortune for tiny portions and mediocre quality? It’s the epitome of culinary brilliance, where your taste buds can savor gourmet flavors while your wallet weeps in agony. What a steal indeed!

Good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced, good quantity of food, I was just turned off by the strand of air found in my food , over all good presentation of the food.

Had 15 people office dinner party at this location of Banana Leaf. Food was fresh and flavors were amazing. All of us enjoyed the food very much. We tried veg options as well non veg options. People were surprised by how good even jackfruit can taste if spiced and cooked correctly. Mango Daal was amazing. Service was very good too. Overall it was very good experience. Definitely a go to Indian restaurant in DTLA

Ordered Biriyani, and it was more like Khichidi instead. Did not taste fresh at all, felt like it was premade and defrosted.

I ordered from this place 3 times on Uber eats. The first time was one of the best Chicken tikka’s I’d ever had. The 2nd and 3rd time over the past ~2 weeks have been some of the worse – soooo salty to the point I was inedible. The dried out, overcooked meat was also not enjoyable. Lastly, the garlic naan I’ve ordered 2x is a tasteless, burned cracker – it doesn’t even have salt. Too much salt in one dish, and none in another. ♀️The 2nd time I ordered, I ordered naan from a different Indian restaurant because the one I ordered the first time was so bad. I ordered it again the 3rd time and it was still as bad. It’s disrespectful to send food like that out the door and expect people to pay. I want a refund.
