Food was delicious! We ordered the fried pork chops with rice and beans, traditional mofongo with pork, an extra side of mofongo with chicken broth, tostones and beef empanadas. Way too much food for the 2 of us but we wanted to try it all because we are Puerto Rican cuisine lovers! All the food was delicious. Reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the drinks from the bar was just awful. The sangria was murky and gritty and the mojito was so tart it was like sucking on a lemon. Doesn’t look like they have a legit bartender… just whomever can jump behind the bar that’s working can make the drink, which is sad because mixed drinks deserve better. To be fair, I didn’t come for the drinks but it was my birthday so I wanted to celebrate. I will definitely return but I’ll order something that doesn’t require a bartender… like a beer.

Small, but, open spaced. Beautifully decorated in their cultural heritage (though, I didn’t feel comfortable with the painting depicting Spaniard’s role in Slavery). Friendly waitress. Recommended the chicken stew to me as a 1st time visitor. Which I (in my mind) expected to be wowed with spices and flavors, but, felt that it was a good chicken soup made from scratch. I’m the middle of our east coast road trip, we stopped here to meet friends for dinner. This restaurant was recommended by them. We ordered the tri-fongo de mariscos, pernil, churrasco, and mofongo con camarones. The flavor and presentation were great, the portions were big and the price was reasonable. Another great stop.

I used to absolutely love this place but now that they have 3 locations the did quality and pricing just don’t match. I ordered $20 of chicharrones and got to measly little strips of meat. One dark, one light and definitely not worth $20. The order i got should have been one order at best. I unfortunately ordered 2. I’m sad that this has happened to what used to be awesome! 1 star because the arroz con gandules is still good. I’m looking for someplace to replace my visits here.

Cant give it 5 stars. Food is good. Pernil is bland. My Acapuria was raw but the server took care of it immediately. I was extremely disappointed when I ordered a white rice “to go” which was $5 and it was barely a half of cup!. I may go again, the food is good but a bit pricey.

I’m not familiar with this type of food. First time there. Tried the sampler platter. Really liked the beef empanadas. Not a fan of their tres leches cake. The staff was really nice and the food came out quick. I will eat there again once I get a better understanding of the menu items.

They don’t deserve any stars but since I have to they get one. The food is taste ok but not compared to the location on Virginia Beach…. The manager or whoever was on charge was the rudest and most disrespectful person and made the worse experience I’ve ever had at restaurant in my life. She needs to work on customer service, her attitude was so bad…the good thing I can speak Spanish and English so I was listenin to the rumors after us complain about the food. We ordered 3 orders of chicharrón and ask to bring separate and it was ok(, not like we expected only 2 pieces for order but the location on Virginia Beach the portion of chicharron are much better) then we order 2 more and they gave me 3 tiny pieces of chicharrón so I asked to the waitress if it was 1 or 2 orders and she say it’s 2 orders then “the manager “ came and say we selling the chicharrón by weight and is only 8 oz for order so so ( nothing what she was saying made sense) .. The waitress is doing her job very good!!!
