We stopped here for lunch after seeing the good reviews. The lone gentleman working was very busy, but still made us feel welcome. We ordered a couple of margaritas (8/10), chips and salsa (6.5/10), and the enchiladas ranchera (8/10) and combo plate w/ cheese enchilada (5/10), beef flautas (8/10) and chile relleno (7/10). Even the rice and beans were superior to those at most places we’ve been to in the area. The most notable thing, though, is the amount of food. Our dishes came out on plates that were much larger than usual. Each could have easily served two people, so we had a lot of leftovers. All in all, this is now one of our favorite Mexican restaurants around. Good food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service – a rare combo for the Boulder area.

One of the best mexican restaurants in Superior. They have some unique preparation which you may not get in other mexican joints. They have a typical old school mexican decor and ambience. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. I loved my experience in this small but amazing restaurant. Would recommend and visit once again.

A mediocre Mexican restaurant. The service was awful. The waiter didn’t pay much attention to our table and brought the wrong tortillas. After a lengthy wait they finally brought the correct ones. Bad service aside, the food is nothing special – certainly nothing close to what the average reviews seem to indicate. Overall, a disappointing experience and a place I would steer clear of.

Super generous portions & good bang for your buck. Haven’t gotten a meal this big in forever. House salsas were definitely different- not bad not good. Service very slow but we were hanging out so it was fine! Margaritas did not taste fresh or good at all and we tried a few. Food didn’t have any real flavor to it but the carne asada was cooked nicely. All around just not the best experience but worth checking out if you want a mega plate.

My favorite Mexican food in the Westminster/Superior area. The green chili on the asada burrito I ordered was so flavorful, the meat cooked to have that yummy grilled taste, but at the same time so tender! Rice and beans taste homemade. Service is great, our server was able to give some really good recommendations.

This place is incredible. All around it’s a very good establishment. We recently moved nearby and have already been there four times. Everything just keeps getting better somehow! We went yesterday (a Friday evening at 7pm) and it was packed. But the staff was still so nice and friendly. And most importantly the food came out amazing. I’m vegetarian and usually I get average food but that’s not the case here. The veggie quesadilla is PACKED with vegetables. The crispy cheese relleno is delicious. And if you like some kick, they do a house made hot sauce that is really good. To top it off, they’ve got some really tasty specialty margaritas. This is really the gem of the area.

My partner and I went here when our original brunch plans turned out to be unfeasible (the closest brunch place had around a 35 min wait so we decided to see what was around). We came here expecting to have some nice Mexican food for brunch and let me tell you, it was ABOVE AND BEYOND. First off, we were the only people at the restaurant at the time since we came around opening so it was very easy to hold a conversation. The servers were all kind and attentive, and the food was SUBLIME. I wish I had taken a picture before I started eating, but I got their Huevos a la Mexicana and added lettuce and steak and WOW. Whatever they are doing to tenderize and season the meat is out of this world!! Beyond that, if you stick to the menu and don’t get bold like I did by adding in tons of extra stuff it’s super affordable and great quality. Best Mexican food we have had around Broomfield, we both cannot wait to come back here again 🙂

So good. Excellent service and excellent food. Authentic cuisine in an unexpected setting. Drive around the plaza and enjoy the patio this summer. They make this cabbage that comes out with the chips and salsa and it’s unbelievably good. I could sit at the bar and drinks margaritas and eat the cabbage. Looking forward to my next trip back.
