I live in the neighborhood and used to frequent this DQ often with my grandson. I am a huge fan of the vanilla cherry dip cone. However, the past three times I have went, the ice cream has been extremely light and airy, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it tasted more like marshmallow cream than ice cream. Like it really isn’t even cold and the cherry dip hardly sticks to it. It’s not the heat, as it hasn’t been hot out. I was told once by someone that worked for Dairy Queen that they can adjust the amount of air that is put with the ice cream and I’m not sure if it’s a cost saving measure or not but something has happened to the ice cream in this location. It makes me sad because I can’t even eat them as I hate marshmallows. Staff are great though!

I don’t generally write reviews, let alone for fast food because you can never really expect high standards. However, I’ve also never been served terrible ice cream. I didn’t think that was even possible. I ordered a simple chocolate dipped cone. It came only about half dipped, the ice cream was sour and melted completely on me on my 4 minute ride home. ( I had the AC going too. I don’t like to be negative especially when I know there’s a bunch of kids working there, but there’s also an inherent trust you place in the folks serving you food and I no longer trust this establishment’s standards.
