Cheat Day
I got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It didn’t Wow me for one reason. The flavor was almost hitting. Nothing is worst than almost. It peaks then it was a mouthful of dry beef. It’s good enough to eat almost a wow. Service 10/10. Greek salad yum! Caramel cookie deliciousness. I will try them again. One of their patrons was absolutely demolishing their Italian sub. He said it was the star not what I got. So I’ll try again.

Love the Atmosphere here. It’s chilled and laid back with decor to enjoy looking at while you eat or wait for your food. Employees are always super nice. I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Stromboli. I request to have NO onions. Add Banana peppers and extra Mozzarella cheese. And Ranch for the dipping sauce! Yummy in my tummy!!!

I haven’t been to a Grinders in many years but it was always my favorite sandwich place in town going all the way back to the old campus shop circa 1990.

The food is great and the employees are usually nice. They are always busy b/c of how reliably great the food is…

We stopped for a late lunch and had the original Italian and meatball subs. We both had a combo with cheddar Mac. Everything was very good. I recommend leaving the Italian off the bread that they do for most subs.

Food and service is great but the last 3 times we were there the temperature was about 65 degrees with ceiling fans on full blast. Everyone around us was complaining, one family sent dad back to car for sweaters. super uncomfortable !

Best sandwiches around! The bread is amazing. The soup is always good and you can’t beat the desserts! The service is excellent and I would rather go here than some more expensive restaurants in town just for the service.

Great sandwiches – All W.g.Grinders are not alike and thankfully this one is at the very top! No more eggs was a bit disappointing, more so because we ordered them for a BLT and would have order the special – Chicken Cordon Blue instead.

I was so pleasantly surprised with how delicious, and perfectly prepared my stromboli was. It was the perfect amount of cheese and meats and the breading was absolutely delicious. I also don’t usually like Mariana and I loved theirs and their ranch is perfection. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything and it was nice to see a team of younger kids working so well together. They were literally cleaning the store from head to toe and helping each other and the customers out. Also added bonus was they are super affordable, and their desserts options were plentiful and delicious. We got peanut butter fudge, no bake cookies, chocolate chip cookies, a chocolate bundt cake that was a little dry, and a slice of banana foster that was delicious. And all that only came to 15.00 for all the dessert .
