We eat here everytime we come to vist in San Diego. Great food, great price and a free soda included. They were so accomodating to my request for a valentines setup to surprise my wife. Oscar even furnished the music player for the smooth Jazz music. This was perfect!

Been living in la Mesa 20 plus years and I can tell you this place has gone way way down hill. Basically not the same place it was food is bad now. This place should close it’s sad now. And way to many Mexican shops in a 3 mile area. If your gonna do it do it right. So far the best Mexican place in all la Mesa is Casa de pico .

Love the food, but when they forgot one of our items in a large to-go order I called, left messages, and sent an email in order to get a refund for the missing item. They never responded. No call back. No response from emails. Terrible service when something goes wrong. I’ll update this review if they respond.

First time here, food was pretty tasty, will return. I had rice, refried beans, lettuce and tomato toppings, a beef taco, and a couple of cheese and beef enchiladas for less than $10 bucks …! With a drink. They could easily charge more here for the quantity and quality. Staff was welcoming.
