What an amazing dinner experience. Located in a quaint little alley between Huston St. and John St. just off of King Street this is an ideal spot for a special occasion or just a great night out. The decor is elegant with Italian music playing gives it a real feel of Italy. The food is outstanding! The menu is on the smaller side but they also have nightly specials. Great appetizers and salads and an extensive wine list. The dishes are made with homemade perfection and mouth watering. We love the braised short ribs , traditional spaghetti and meatballs, and my favorite the Sunday Ragu made with beef, veal and pork. Generous portions and very friendly service. The manager there went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and we were. We try to go there whenever we visit Charleston. This hidden gem is a must try. Reservations are advised but if you go early you can probably be seated immediately. The prices are very reasonable for a Charleston restaurant and the experience is worth every penny.

Came here for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary Dinner, both my wife and I were very pleased with the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. Our favorite items were the meatballs (got with Spaghetti) and Tiramisu. These are standard orders for us at Italian restaurants and both really stood out at Vincent Chicco’s. The meatballs had an incredibly soft texture (great mouthfeel), juicy, and full of flavor. Tiramisu is probably in out top 3 all-time. Tasty wine selection, reasonably priced, and quality burrata topped this off as a great dining experience.

Great food at this Italian restaurant off King st! Located down a cute ally that was playing Italian music. My group and I had no complaints about the quality of the service or our food. Our server was attentive and we got seated right away. We were celebrating a special occasion of one of my friends and our waitress went out of her way to make sure she felt special! The chicken piccata was simple, fresh, and delicious over a bed of fingerling potatoes instead of pasta. Would recommend the tiramisu as well for dessert too!

Wow! This was my first time visiting this amazing city and I was looking for a nearby Italian restaurant, with old city charm. I found that and more!! From the moment I turned down the cutest alley and then walked through the front door. I was greeted and welcomed by such an amazing staff of people. I was dining alone and sat at the bar and was regaled by the history of this restaurant by their unbelievable bartender Sean. He made me feel like I was dining with friends and all of the staff stopped over to chat. Now the food….SO tasty. I wish I had the time and appetite to try everything but I decided on the bruschetta and the pesto gnocchi and very much enjoyed both. I can’t wait to come back and visit. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious food!

Came in from out of town and there were some open slots early. Dinner experience was great. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was super attentive. The fresh pasta was delicious and certainly hit the spot on texture and flavor. And the seafood was fresh. Hope to be able to come back soon!

I usually pick up food from Vincent Chicco’s when I’m in Charleston. The food is pretty good for the price. I’ve only done take out (no outdoor dining option). Each time, the food is ready on time and hot when I pick it up. I normally order a salad and a pasta dish. Check out their website for the latest menu because it does change.

Great wine selection. Very bland food. Short rib and mashed potatoes were packing salt and any flavor. Very disappointed in the lack of dietary restrictions (the only Italian restaurant in Charleston that does not offer gluten free pasta or unbreaded chicken options). Expect to wait 20-30 minutes past reservation time for an available table.
