Authentic Mexican food (maybe a little Americanized here and there) with a few clearly American options on the menu (which is good, means they have something for pretty much everyone). I honestly don’t even know where to begin with singing the praises of this place, but it’s one of my favorite restaurants in town! The cocktails are always perfectly executed, the food is delicious and well-made with generous portions, and the service is always prompt and friendly and they’re excellent about ensuring their patrons have a great experience! Worth the little bit extra money their dishes cost because you can tell a lot of care goes into every meal and drink. I’ve tried probably half the items on the menu and have never yet been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Oh, and plenty of parking plus they have great outdoor seating during the warmer months!

Felt like a little Mexican bistro and when you stepped in you were transported to another place. Excellent food if you leave hungry it was your own fault. Great reasonable pricing to quality product. Nice staff as well

Food was terrible. Chicken was like crumbles in both chimicanga, and sober. Beans were runny and flavorless. Rice and other things had a fishy taste. Need to wash there dishes better. Would only go there for there cocktails. Those were good. Service was good. Lot of money for food we didn’t even eat.

7/13/22 UPDATE: My first review was 5 stars. After our meal tonight I am changing it to 3 stars. I am sorry, but we were disappointed. We got our food through DoorDash and it was here in record time… but the Tostadas were soggy and the guacamole was brownish. It did not look fresh. The worst part was… we found the avocado sticker in the guacamole. We were not happy with that. We stopped eating it immediately.

We had a great time with a wonderful server and the food is always excellent. Great value. The outside seating is quite pleasant in good weather.

Really disappointed. Ordered take out, food was way to overpriced. Chips were stale, all of the salsa and hot sauces they gave me were fermented and popped and bubbled when I opened them. The food was not good for the prices and for some reason they garnished the food with cucumber so it transfered that flavor too my tacos. Never again.

I sampled the chicken, steak and ground beef tacos with rice and beans (lunch take out spent 15$). All 3 tacos were order American style on hard shell. They were all loaded with meat, which for 3$ each they better be! Ground beef was pretty good as well as the steak and chicken. The chicken was cut up and not pulled apart, which in my case I do not prefer…but it was tasty. Hard shells were thinner ( the way I like it) there was plenty of cheese and tomatoes added on top. The salsas I was provided (1roja hot, 1 roja not hot, and what seemed to be a much hotter type of pepper and citrus type of salsa) roja hot was hot and tasty the one not hot might as well be spaghetti sauce to me anyway. Some who don’t like it hot will prefer that one, the super spicy salsa was very very good and very flavorful!!!Beans were to liquid like for my taste and the rice was good. Atmosphere was decent and they have outside seating. All in all they are expensive in my 38 year old opinion, BUT still worth it. Will go again for sure when I’m on the south side.

Food was a little pricey for what I ordered. Several us ordered the special and we were told that we would receive a discount but we did not. The tres Leche cake was too soggy so I did not enjoy it. I have had better at the little section of Piggly Wiggly on Durant (Rt. 11 and Lathrop) That 3 leches cake was excellent there.
