Horrible experience. Went for breakfast and food was disgusting and cold. No flavor, waitress had an attitude and did not check in on us once. Will never return! Also WAY overpriced! 18$ for 2 people. Ordered 2 eggs, grits, sausage and toast and could have got more food and better food at waffle house for far less!

Their breakfast was phenomenal!! Love love LOVE their pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits, etc.! No complaints. The sweet tea was delicious. My kids cleared their plates. Can’t wait to go back!!(:

My wife and I visited Cathy’s for the first time last weekend as we were conducting some business in town. We had breakfast and were pleasantly surprised when our food arrived. The onion sausage was delicious, the grits were done right and my omelet was made by someone that knows how to cook one correctly. All of our food was good, the service was a bit on the slow side but the quality and taste made up for it. The waitress was very nice and explained that the food quality and taste are consistent because the staff is small and doesn’t change, which is alright by me as long as the food is good.

I had eggs, toast, grits and hash-browns and my husband had the Prosperity Slammer. The eggs were very good, but the rest of the food was just “eh”. The gravy tasted like it was canned and the grits were watery and had no flavor. The service was good but the place could use a good cleaning.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The poor waitress is run ragged so I wouldn’t expect refills. The fries get too dark, think maybe the oil gets too hot. But the onion rings are on point! And the burger!! Dang!

Food was decent. The service was extremely poor. The lady was rude and had an attitude. I had to wave and flag her down every time I needed anything like a refill on my empty drink. Considering we were a table of four and there was only one other person there I feel she could have been at least attentive even if she had an attitude.

Detoured out of our way to eat here and they were closed although there Google biz listing showed open (Monday). Only reason I gave two stars is we liked all the shops around Cathy’s, very cool little town. Hopefully we can catch them open next time and give them a review based on food and service.

Recently relocating to this area I wanted to embrace this place, actually any small business I try and help. There are very few options in this town. Cathys place is terrible. I don’t know what’s more sour the waitress’ attitude or the baby vomit that’s supposed to be biscuits and gravy. Patrons sometimes refill their coffee because the waitress has forgot or doesn’t care. I’ve been 4 times in 6 months and it’s never been good. I once tried to order lunch and was told “no it’s too early” you’re only open until 11 on Saturdays! How do you limit your menu when you’re barely open?!!! I hope they get a grip soon or someone else moves in and changes it up.
