What a great place. Little bit of a hole in the wall neighborhood spot, and that’s what I prefer. Was quiet and peaceful. Food was excellent, and service too. ***I saw a person that was picking up a to go order, and upon leaving, they dropped the bag. The waitress and sushi chef immediately rushed over, felt sorry, then took to inspect and repair/replace the presentation. Very cool to see.

They’ve just started with a new ownership and a new chef. The Chef is very experienced and professional. You will love their rolls, sushi and sashimi. Staffs are also very friendly. You will find quality Japanese foods here. Highly recommended.

My brothers and I enjoyed our lunch bento boxes with lots of different options- bulgogi, teriyaki chicken, spicy pork, snapper teriyaki… but the best part of the experience was the 620 roll! We ordered another after our boxes just to keep enjoying it!

For this week’s local restaurant adventure, we visited Sushi Ocean for lunch. The place is small but has cozy feeling where the tables are placed close to each other but not too crowded. I ordered lunch combo L4 which is Spicy Pork Bento box. In the box, in addition to Spicy Pork and steamed white rice, the combo also came with Miso soup, small house salad, 2 pcs of pork gyoza (pot stickers), RM620 rolls (3 pcs), California rolls (2 pcs) and 2 pcs of Chef’s choice Nigri which were Shrimp and Tuna. The food had good taste, the portions was fair for the price and the service was very friendly. This might not be an everyday place to eat but definitely an excellent choice for a biweekly or monthly treat.

Ordered the Sashimi platter and a Red Dragon Roll. Everything was okay, the Sashimi didn’t seem fresh, and the salmon left a pink residue, assuming that was dye from farm raised fish. The dragon roll was okay also. At $63, this was pretty pricey for my tastes. The owners were nice and the restaurant, though small, was clean.

As an appetizer we got fried chicken dumplings, which were very good and fresh. Miso soup that was hot & delicious. But the winner was this Ahi tower! Super fresh and flavorful. Totally more than one person to eat! The second box are my left overs. 10/10 also nice clean restroom

Friday dinner, done right! Blown away by the sushi roll presentation. Ordered Tropical roll and Spicy crunch roll. Both were absolutely delicious A special thank you for the complimentary appetizer sampler box. The fried veggies were lip smacking. Can’t wait to try more.

The food here is incredible with biiiig portions! The people are so nice and hospitable. We got gyoza and it was nice and crunchy but not overdone. The chicken was nicely cooked and flavorful. The house salad has a really bright and zesty ginger sauce, kinda reminds me of Italian vinaigrette but with ginger instead (and I’m not a huge ginger fan). I got beef yakisoba and it was really good, the beef was cooked perfectly! For the sushi, I recommend getting the crunch roll with eel sauce and spicy Mayo added on top. It’s seriously amazing **chef’s kiss** my husband got the chicken teriyaki and his first word’s were “damn this is good” lol seriously try this place out! you won’t regret it!
