My wife and I were hankering for some good ‘ol Southern Comfort Soul Food but what we found at Cafe Metro wasn’t good, it was stupendously delicious!! Oh what a great gem this place is; located in Teaneck’s Cedar Lane.

Never eaten Caribbean styled cuisine from Antigua before. Went with traditional chicken curry meal with rice & peas, side of veggies, plantains, and rum cake. The meal was surprisingly savory and scrumptious!!

The food was fantastic. Service was great. I got the curry shrimp, and they were cooked perfectly. They seemed to be out of a few things, but I’m chalking that up to the items being popular. Looking forward to visiting more often.

Food was very good! I understand Oxtails are expensive, however 4pieces of Oxtail for 19.99 not acceptable. So I would have given 5 stars , portions of food took it down to 2.
