Stopped in after not having been here in over a year for lunch. As usual and as a local the food was good and the staff was professional and friendly. My server Mary made sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. If your looking for a quick eat and good food I’d definitely check it out. Some new renovations since I was last in as well. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

I haven’t been to such a great place in a long time. Great food, and I mean great. Like my grandparents cooked it themselves. Quality ingredients too! Only a couple plates left unemptied!! One of my new favorite places. And pay close attention to the tables, they’re absolutely beautiful craftsmanship done by the owner himself. Was staying at boyne resort for this trip but I WILL be returning. Owner even caught me outside because I almost forgot my Toddlers left overs! Wonderful people.

There’s a reason this place is always empty. The prices are outrageous and food is beyond mediocre. It’s my fault for wanting to patronize a small local business. Lesson learned. I paid $6 for my child to have chocolate milk (see photo). Almost $10 for One hard biscuit that was burned on the bottom and some gravy.(Please stop flase advertising biscuits and gravy when it’s A biscuit One) Fries were an additional $4 on a $12 burger. Also burgers are burgers no cheese I assume that is an additional $2 or $3, I had cheese in the car for my son so I just grabbed it.

We stayed at Boyne Resort and couldn’t find a place to eat without waiting an hour. We called ahead and we didn’t need a reservation. We like our waitress Amanda. She was a colorful person. My friends got a grill cheese, pulled pork, and and chicken tenders. I got a Jack and pepsi, and a the lemon pepper planked whitefish. The fish was good. I especially liked the hush puppies on the sides. My friend did not like the food especially the grill cheese that was overcooked on one side.

We went to this diner when the town was celebrating the Polish Festival. So the menu for lunch was a fixed menu as compared to it’s normal menu we saw online. We did not want to get up and leave and chose from the limited menu.

Place feels like home. The attenders are very friendly, they treat you more like family than a customer. Food is delicious. Great atmosphere. We went in just when they were closing… Even then we were attended with great care and served well. Love this place <3

Worst food got food poisoning. Their kitchen has mouse droppings all over and I would know. I served there and quit. Because of the fifth and horrible management and still have yet to be paid and that was 4 months ago. Do not go I repeat do not eat here. It will MAKE YOU SICK.
