Decided to try this place since it was close to the hotel. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate with Fattoush salad and rice pilaf. Was hoping it was as good as the restaurant that’s close to my house, sadly it was not. Service was great but the food was just okay.

I love anything Mediterranean, but unfortunately Byblos will not be added to that list. I was so excited when this restaurant recently opened in the Elmwood Shopping Center. The restaurant is beautiful and the menu looked promising. My party of 2 visited for dinner and the hostess was weird. We asked about sitting outside and she said we couldn’t. The other hostess then said we could. It was very awkward, so we just sat inside. I started with the Pepper Pineapple Margarita. It wasn’t good and tasted like a glass of pineapple juice. The Beef Shawarma Wrap was bland and the beef was of terrible quality. I could barely chew it. The other guest had the Beef and Chicken Kabobs. It was odd the the meat wasn’t on sticks, so not sure what kind of kabobs those were. Again, the quality of the meat was terrible and could not be chewed. We had the Feta Cheese Fingers as an appetizer and they were really good. With that said, the appetizer menu actually looks good, so I would return and just try the appetizers.

we went to try out the new byblos restaurant in harahan. the restaurant had been renovated and looked really nice. we sat down and were served fresh pita bread and oil – the bread was fresh out of the oven and extremely delicious. we then ordered the hummus trio which came with 3 dips of hummus, hummus with lamb and hummus with cheese and olives and sun dried tomatoes. the hummus was decent, the lamb was apparently really good s c the portion size was huge

We came here for dinner. Family of three, one being a 12yr old boy!! The restaurant was very clean, fresh, modern. Very lively, noise level was high, but not unbearable. The food was delicious, and our server was prompt and friendly. We’ll definitely be back for an adult date night because the drinks looked amazing!

Nice to have a decent place in elmwood, the couple other restaurants near here don’t measure up.This was actually my 3rd visit I’ve sat at bar all 3 times. I’ve enjoyed it.

The food was good. I had two drinks with extra shot in each. I was charged 48$ for 2 regular size drinks. I made a comment “could have bought a whole bottle for that much” the waitress made a sly remark “no, a bottle cost 50$”

Went there to order to go… Waitress at the front was rude, and very unprofessional. After ordering I was told the wait would be almost an hour. (Ended up being 40 mins)

Our server Matt was great. However, there was A LOT of olive oil on my lamb hummus. So much oil that I couldn’t eat half of it. I suggest that the oil be brought to the table so that each person can add some if desired. The lamb was good.
