Me & my coworkers had lunch here & it was a very pleasant experience. The food was hot, fresh, & good. The server took care of us & kept our drinks full. Forgot to get picture of the food but the pork chops were huge (had enough to take home). The sides were well made & tasted great. I had to take the Red Velvet cake home. It was big enough to share for sure & had a great taste. Will absolutely be back. Prices seemed very reasonable. Dining room is a casual “home cooking” style, but clean & well maintained.

I made my first visit to Pinckney’s. It definitely won’t be my last. You really need to go if you want some home cookin’. The fried chicken and pork chop were so good. You have several choices for sides. I had the collard greens, squash casserole, and cabbage. It was all good. It reminded me of eating Sunday dinner back home. And don’t worry if you want to try more sides because it’s all you can eat. You can’t leave this place and still be hungry. All this and the staff is super nice. You are missing out if you don’t drop in.

My family and I went here for the first time today on Mother’s Day, while visiting from out of State. We had an excellent experience! The amount of food they give us was amazing, the taste, the quality was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! These beautiful ladies waited on us, while we relaxed and enjoyed our family while we ate home cooked AMAZing southern food! Definitely recommend 100%& we will definitely come back here when we visit South Carolina again! Ty Pinckney’s for a happy joyful experience!!

This is one of the best hidden gems right out in the open. If you are going fast down Rt 25 towards Edgefield, SC, you’re going to miss it. By far the best down home cooking restaurants in the CSRA. The portions are gigantic and nothing from a box. Cornbread that melts in your mouth. Dessert this day was Mango Cake was shared by three of us. Yes it was that big!

I visited Pinckney’s Home Cooking Restaurant and enjoyed a DELICIOUS late lunch. They have a surprising range of choices on their Menu. Everything was tempting and they have a buffet as well. I ordered ribs and 2 sides. I didn’t have to ask for a knife, the rib meat just fell off the bone! I had Hoppin’ John, “Mac & cheese” and sweet cornbread. There was plenty left to take some home. Check out their Menu board on the wall for the desserts, too. I love their 5 flavor cake. I WILL be back because on top of all that yummy food the service was great!

From the minute we walked in the door, we were welcomed like family. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Especially Bri. The food will make you slap yourself. Taste like grandmas cooking. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real home cooked goodness! OH and can’t not mention the key lime cake, out of this world!
