I ordered the 3 beef hard shell American street tacos that were $9. I then upgraded the order for $3 more it included rice, beans and a soda. The tacos were ok. I felt the beef could use more seasoning. I ordered nachos and cheese as well. It came with a nice size bag of nachos, however I was extremely disappointed with the side of cheese. It was a small little cup, definitely not enough for the bag of chips. A larger amount of cheese would have been great!

We’ve been to the truck by Menards a few times, but they leave by 6. We decided to try the restaurant and it was excellent. My wife had the California burrito and it was not too salty as a previous reviewer said. I get the Carne Asada Fries and it is very tasty.

I like the fact that they have a drive through. Their tacos are a bit pricey. I got 4 ground beef tacos and I didn’t get the meal so it was without the beans and rice and it was still over $12 in comparison with another local restaurant where I got 5 ground beef tacos WITH sour cream for a little over $10. To be fair the other restaurant has been around longer. As far as taste goes they’re pretty decent and I would eat them again.

The quesabirria and steak taco was very very good but I was pretty disappointed in the queso and chips, for $6 I got a small reheated side of cheese mix that was not a normal queso blanco consistency like the girl described it as and had a little too much spice for my taste. Regardless for $6 I wouldn’t suggest it. BUT the tacos were amazing! Margarita on the rocks seemed a little bland and no salt like I asked for but would go back for the tacos.

We used the drive-through service. Our order was completed quickly and efficiently. The server was friendly. The most important thing is the food. The food is flavorful and plentiful. This is a fantastic place to eat, and I highly recommend it. I have added it to my frequent and default short list. 5 stars.

Ordered- carne asada fries and 3 carne asada tacos. Mannn I’m slipping, I should’ve known about this spot. The tacos are ok but the carne asada fries are fire. I’ll be coming back for them.

We ate at the Pico’s Taco Truck outside Menards. I hate to say it… but the food on the taco truck was more tasty. The main reason was too much salt. My California Burrito was good… but the salt on the steak was over-bearing. Next time I go there, I will ask if there is a “no salt” option. My wife’s tacos were delicious. The guacamole was great… and the fried ice cream was incredible! Other than the super salty steak meat on my California Burrito, I would highly recommend Pico’s Tacos Premier.

Ordered steak tacos yesterday and while everything tasted fine, the rice was kinda dry & I noticed old looking cilantro on my last taco… My husband and I both have been feeling sick since eating the tacos yesterday. I will stick with the taco truck on Durand & Lathrop for now on P.S. never had an issues with Picos taco truck but it’s a bit of a drive for me.
