Always “Peet’s” – good coffee, ever rising prices, nice young staff who don’t stay long because they probably aren’t paid enough. Go to the original Peet’s in Berkeley and remember the good ol’ days, and soak up some nice “Berkeley Peet’s vibes.”

The food will never be great at a coffee chain but aside from the original coffee blend that’s available in any Peet’s this particular location attracts me because the staff is usually pretty cool and the location is less a scene than its Bon Air sister. This location, mellow, old trees across the street, the great Corte Madera library next door, if you can ignore the traffic a block away, this Peet’s in like a short

I picked up two large cartons of coffee for a business meeting. The staff prepared everything in advance, good presentation and the coffee was good.

Worst Peets Ive ever been to. So lets just say this, as consumers, perhaps its time to lower the bar. Just know that when you go here, you may or may not get what you ordered. Once I went in and ordered two breakfast sandos and they only gave me one. Easy fix but I didnt realize it until I was driving away. The bag did feel a little light. The next time I went in and ordered and looked the barrista right in the eye and ordered and they stuck my order deep in a pile of phone in or online orders. I stood there for 10 minutes looking at the person with people coming and going and was never told that my order was ready. I was 5 feet away and staring like a full on creeper until i finally asked where my sando was and she was like, “It’s right there under the pile of other bags”. Or something like that. So, as consumers, let’s lower the bar on this place, lower our expectations. We can still go here and give them our business. The coffee is great and when I’m in Marin on business and need a quick breakfast snack I will still go here.

I love Peete’s coffee, I wish they had more locations instead of Starbucks. The Havana cappuccino is awesome.

So I walk in, 8 months pregnant, looking for a better experience than the Starbucks across the street at Safeway. And to my surprise, that didn’t happen. I ordered a medium iced tea with half black tea, half Hibiscus tea so reduce the amount of caffeine and order a bacon egg white sandwich. When I ordered the sandwich, the woman at the at the register on August 4th around 2:15pm, said she didn’t know what sandwich I was talking about. I asked if she had the egg white sandwich in stock and she said she “needed” me to “point” to the sandwich or “say the whole name correctly….” How snarky. She rings me up, charges my card and goes to look for a sandwich. Comes back saying they’re out of the sandwich “what other one do I want.” Right. So all the trouble with not understanding what the egg white sandwich was, making me walk back to point it out, and then making me “say the whole name” and you couldn’t be bothered to list off the options you DO have before giving a customer the run around. What service.

Always been the place to get coffee before going to the City or early Saturday Sunday wakeup coffee.

Best staff of ALL the Peets Coffee stores I’ve been to. Super friendly and quick! They in turn make the customer (I’m one of them) feel welcome. It’s truly the best symbiotic working relationship I’ve experienced at a coffee roaster establishment.

Always my go to stop when I am in the Marin area. The staff is always friendly and the coffee making is consistently good. Great place to just sit and people watch as well. Since the location is across the street from the shopping center, you don’t get all of the foot traffic that they get over there, which to me is just fine.
