Absolutely horrific. My mom and I sat down and the tables were a sticky disaster. The staff didn’t bother to clean them off and we had to ask after being seated. Service was horrible. The waiters were eating their dinner out in the open, no engagement whatsoever, very rude and unfriendly. We waited about 15 mins to be seen by a waitress in an empty restaurant. When food came (Cheese Ravioli, Calamari) it tasted as if it was frozen and reheated. The meatball in the Ravioli was hard and over cooked. The Calamari had a weird aftertaste and was flimsy and wet to the touch. The restaurant was a mess and completely unpresentable. Old salad left on the floor, not to mention a napkin in the middle of the floor left there for our whole meal. (We were there for about an hour and a half) Staff ignored the trash, napkins, dirty plates, and neglected to clean any table whatsoever. We will NEVER come back. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed in Crust, Carlsbad.

Best pizza I’ve found in the Southland. Full disclosure, I am only two years local to SoCal. Crust really impressed us tonight with an app-pizza-dessert combo. The first course was buffalo wings. Great sauce and meaty wings. The sauce was a great balance of hot and tasty. The pie was cheesy with abundant topping. The dessert was a magical mix of benigts and sauce with ice cream. Delicious. Waiter was friendly and engaged.

So where my college peeps at? For those of you who lived in a dorm, remember how great it was to have someone else prepare you 3 squares a day? Well, do you also remember how sweet it was to “cheat” and scrape together enough loose change (and likely at least a little lint ) so that you could splurge on a pizza somewhere near campus? Well @crustpizzeriacarlsbad brings me right back to that point in my life. Their pizza offers a splendid combo of fresh ingredients and grease. Yes, grease. Some of you know exactly what I’m talking about. The addition of pepperoni on a pizza requires a minimum amount of grease in order for it to be deemed legit. But don’t worry, it’s the kind of grease that’s good for you. Just like having “good cholesterol”, or when something is “awful good”, or when you experience a “deafening silence.” Tip to the wise: don’t leave this place without experiencing some road rash. Relax people, “Road Rash” is a dessert option here who’s DNA allegedly traces its roots back to the famed marriage of a churro and a beneigh (not true). Now if I could just manage to payoff my student loans. ♂️

Love this place. Both the Cesar and House Salads are great. The complimentary Focaccia Bread with Marinara Sauce went wonderfully with the Votre Pinot Noir. The Meatball and Onion Pizza was delicious. We keep coming back here for the amazing food!

Pizza took ages to arrive! Everyone finished their main dishes and waited an additional 20+ mins for the pizza to be made. Total wait time was around 50 minutes. Pizza was good but not worth the wait. Pasta was mid and definitely not worth the wait. Service was terrible as well. Waiters slammed our dishes and utensils on the table. Very unprofessional and disappointed for the price. Would not come again!

Pizza was so gooey and over cheesed. Crust was almost invisible and undercooked. Hardly any chicken at all and tasted like cheese and barbecue sauce alone. We were very disappointed with this pizza. It was called the savanna barbecue chicken pizza. at the door this pizza it was almost $40 with delivery and service fees. Definitely not worth the money.
