The restaurant has a lot of great Afro-American art. There’s nice music playing, just loud enough to hear it. Several items that we requested were not available or seasonal. The waitress said that they have to update the menu. They don’t substitute the types of food (like fried and marinated chicken, although you can get whatever sides you want). Most of the sides we tried tasted canned, but the Mac and cheese were excellent! The fried catfish and chicken were so seasoned, hot, and delicious (it’s just what we were searching for). The meals are definitely a sharable size

This place is amazing… Some of the most amazing food and the kindest staff you can ever encounter. I drive truck all over the country to get soul food. This is by far some of the most amazing soul food I’ve ever had in my life. It was the able to meet the owner a wonderful young lady and she has a heart of gold she’s putting her heart and soul into this place it definitely shows. All the food was really amazing..

10 out of 10 highly recommend!!! Please do Your taste buds a favor and go experience. The love that is put in that food. The workers are friendly the food is spectacular. I live just about three hours away I drive just to go get the peach cobbler!!!! It’s seriously that Good. It’s like going to your grandma’s house on Sunday after church!

This is a beautiful cozy, home style atmosphere restaurant. The service is wonderful, your instantly greeted by everyone! They make you feel at home while your dining and make sure the portions are as if you are at Sunday dinner with the family at grandmas house!

My brother and I took my dad who is a picky eater here for his birthday dinner, it was our first time eating here and I have to say that the food, atmosphere and customer service was superb. You receive a nice portion of food for you money. It’s not a fancy soul food restaurant but was very clean. If I could rate them with more stars I would. My dad ate more than usual an took the rest home for a late night snack.

The food here is really delicious. The inside of the restaurant is no thrills and old fashioned. But the tastes are incredible. The baked chicken, the okra, the Mac and cheese all tasted like southern soul food. The service was excellent and if I’m ever visiting again, I’d definitely return.
