Wonderful place. Authentic atmosphere and cuisine. Felt like stepping into a Mexican restaurant south of the border. The service was very friendly and relaxed. I had the molcajete and it was very good. Chips and salsa tasted homemade and everyone gets their own salsa cup, very unique. They also have a variety of their own specialty guacamole. The margaritas were a little over sweet but my 78 year old Dad loved them.

Ordered lunch fajitas and steak fajita burrito and the steak was chewy and had a lot of gristle. Vegetables were not cooked long enough to make tender. 1 lunch special, 1 kid meal, 1 fajita burrito meal, small cheese dip and I’m assuming 3 drinks (assuming kid drink was not included with meal) was $42+. The service was slow and we had to wait to see about getting things we needed. Finally had to get up to get to-go containers.

I eat here 1 to 2 times a week. The food is the best Mexican food around this area. Service is solid. Neither great nor bad. Menu is rather large and I’ve eaten probably half of the menu and have never been disappointed.

This out of the way Mexican restaurant has a unique mix of food and flavors. The food was very good and the flavors nit all were typical. The salsa was different but grew on you same with the food. By the time you leave you tell yourself that maybe not the best but certainly worth going back for more and way better than most! Highly recommend!

The flavors were a bit unexpected and seemed to have one spice that was a little over powering (cumin, I think). The guacamole had too much lime (or at least it had a very sour start) and the fajita enchilada skillet was just odd – not bad, but odd.

To start, the salsa was amazing and tasted really fresh along with the chips! My boyfriend got the burrito and it was awesome too! I ordered the chicken, rice, and cheese. It came garnished with oranges and included beans, lettuce, guacamole, and pico. Overall, super impressed; and it’s also a historical building as well which is super cool! New favorite, for sure!
