We love this place. Great food. Great ambiance. The stars on the ceiling and the the LGBTQ+ flags are warm touches. The live entertainment is always fascinating and fun. Great place to gather together or go hang out and eat after a show.

Overwhelmingly mediocre. This is not really an “Irish pub” as it is a bunch of random memorabilia from the British Islands and Ireland thrown into a high ceiling upper bar.

One of the people in our party loves pubs and really wanted to check this out for lunch. The pub is very large and has all kinds of memorabilia all over the walls. It’s a really cool pub! The food was amazing! I ordered a cheese burger and it was delicious! Others in our party ordered the fish and chips, beef pasties, bangers and mash, and a fish bento bowl. Everything was delicious! A little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it! Our server was the only one working the entire pub, probably because it was late afternoon. He was earning his pay! Service was great and it didn’t take long to get our food. Worth a visit if you find yourself in Ashland,, OR!

Atmosphere was good with a live musician. The the general waitstaff was pleasant and helpful. The reason for the two stars was the manager/head persons customer service was severely lacking. A new bartender made a mistake and we ended up with an extra shot. The mistake was fine but how the manager handled the situation was rude and wasteful. When she came to drop off the same extra shot she blamed the bartender and waitstaff then reached across me to pull the shot out of my hand. She did leave the shot she brought which was larger but she was simply taking the old to throw away. It was wasteful. We also ordered fries it looked good but once we started eating them it was clear half were old and hard while the other was soft and good all mixed on the plate. Over all we felt the miscommunication and micro managing that took place effected our experience. We understand that mistakes happen. There could always be new staff. This is not the customers fault.

We love this place. Stars on the ceiling and pride flags in the windows. Shepherd’s Pie and fish and chips that will melt your heart. Oberons is for dancing but Black Sheep is for intellectuals. Fantastic live music, too.

We went for dessert and drinks after dinner at another restaurant. Even though we didn’t order a whole meal the service was good and they were more than accommodating. When my daughter didn’t like what she ordered it was exchanged with no hassle or extra charge. Also the staff work as a team meaning getting orders out looked seamless from our end as a customer. Lastly, it was St. Patrick’s day and it was packed making the good service harder to pull off without complaints that we heard. The crowd was having a great time and even busy the staff was fun and put us at ease.

We liked the English pub atmosphere & decor. None of us liked the food.

Rarebit was fantastic, but the owner was hosting some cult called “The Lantern” that kept approaching the table and it really turned us off. At one point we told them emphatically we were not interested, and the woman said she would leave us some materials in case we changed our minds. It was our 20th anniversary, and they wouldn’t leave us alone. By the third time someone came to the table, we were done. Im sure the owner will assure you it is not a cult, but whatever they want to call themselves they are pushy and intrusive.
