About Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria
Considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati’s is as rich in history as its pizza is in flavor.
Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940’s working in Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood, a northern suburb of Chicago, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago’s best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday.

I recently picked up a large deep dish just cheese, an order of boneless buffalo wings, and a Ceasar salad. Everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. If you like Lou Malnati’s pizza, this is a great carry-out location. They’re always busy so the turnover of food is very good and the entire staff are polite, friendly, and hard working. I will definitely continue to order from them.

Delicious deep dish. Much better than Giordano’s doughy crust. The spinach and pepperoni deep dish is my personal favorite along with buffalo wings. One appetite…..

“This Lou Malnati’s Pizza location is quite small but the pizza was delicious, stuffed, stacked and ready to go!

Great salad with a homemade dressing! I love marinara because they use good quality olive oil.

My wife’s favorite place, probably about number five on my list my neighborhood. Expensive and not that good in my opinion

The thin crust was the most disappointing pizza ever. Ordered XL sausage pizza for $22+ and the value was not there. Not enough flavor, not enough cheese that it looked transparent in most places. Not enough sauce or sausage.

I’ve been ordering at this location for many years and they’ve always provided good service. One time they made a mistake in my order but they fixed it by sending another pizza. This location is the best!!

The worst experience ever! Pick up order, paid 40.00 for 2 pizza’s told 4 min until order done. 15 minutes goes by only to be told they messed my order up and offer me a soda I don’t need/want a soda. My replacement pizza was half cooked and the other cold by the time I was home. The kids playing with their phones not telling me what’s going on was the most aggravating. I will never be back there. I could of spent 40.00 at Culver’s for hot cooked food. Tinley Park location will have my business. If you make a mistake own it, and communicate rather than hide it for 19 minutes

Great pizza, but the required ‘curb side’ pickup has never worked well. You end up waiting 10+ minutes after the food is marked as ready and some times just have to ignore what Lou Malnati’s tells you and just go in and get it.
