I have liked this DQ on previous visits, but the last few times I’ve visited, I’ve been disappointed in the service. We like to take our kids through the drive through for blizzards after ballgames. A few Fridays ago, we drove straight to DQ after our game, were in the line, all the lights on, five cars ahead of us, and they turned us and the car in front of us away at 9:32 because they were closed. They also used to make a custom blizzard order for me that is based off a flavor DQ got me addicted to years ago. The ingredients are still in store, but now I’ve been told to order off the current menu basically. Today, I ordered a cheeseburger. When I was already ten minutes down the road, I realized I was given a chilli cheese burger.

As others have said, this franchised location is run by the tightest of penny pinchers. Service takes a hit as well as menu options, i.e no malt. Portions genuinely feel smaller than other locations ran by different franchisees.

The service was actually pretty good, seeing as though there wasn’t much business. The staff consisting of you adults and teenagers was talking and sitting down. When my food arrived it was cold and tasted like rubber. I don’t plan on spending money at this particular location again.

Updated review on 10/9: tried to go to this dairy queen again. Terrible mistake. Would give zero stars if I could. They DO NOT make the blizzards up to dairy queen standards. Again, I paid extra for more toppings and AGAIN, got actually LESS than what should come with a standard blizzard. Literally just got plain ice cream in a cup. This is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever owns this store needs to step it up and stop being so sleazy!

What a wonderful experience. Walked in at 10:55am to “Good Morning, how can we serve you”. What a change from most restaurants these days. Lunch was served hot, fast, and in a clean dinning room. In my book, they get a 10 out of 10.
