This was our first time here. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was excellent (fresh potato fries and ground beef ). I can’t wait to go again. The only reason I didn’t give you a five-star is the prices were a little high for a limited menu. If I get the same treatment next time I swing by, then definitely five stars.

Don’t know what it is about a Five Guys burger & fries but since the very first time trying which was the Gurnee location back in ’09 which is closest to my house, has always remained #1 in taste for me. I always come with an empty stomach just so I can order my double cheeseburger + an extra pattie.

A rainy and damp April night, almost closing time! We pull in and ask if they are still open. They were actually cleaning but said they had no problem feeding us, lol! The group there was very professional. I don’t know their names, but they were polite and respectful. They were disinfecting bandits! They were disinfecting everything in the building before we left. As they say, cleanliness is next to godliness! I let them know that before we left. I ordered a double cheeseburger with everything and a small fry, my wife just wanted her grilled cheese and lemonade. It was all done to perfection, the facility was spotless, the bathrooms were spotless! And like I always say, clean bathroom clean prep area. Dirty bathroom, don’t eat there! I have to say this visit was refreshing considering the lack of respect shown to one’s fellow man nowadays! The staff is definitely worth an above average tip! And, that’s exactly what we did.

Per usual, the food was great, the place was clean, the peanuts and soda and fries were plentiful. Now, $20 for a burger, lots of fries, a small drink is over the top. Then ask for gratuity at the register? Not sure if this will be around for long; as you can see it was empty at 2PM. No way you take a family here and get out under 100$. I wish they would adjust their model.

S–L–O–W as M–O–L–A–S–S–E–S service. They make tiny little batches of fries like it’s cute and artsy while a dozen people are standing there staring daggers at them to speed it the F up. The plastic gloves at the register needs to stop. There is no customer control, people stand there while your order is called out, you have to manhandle your way through. Culver’s is so much better, choose your cheese and don’t have to wait 15 minutes for french fries!

Very friendly staff, but shorthanded. Buns were very fresh, burgers delicious. Fries were okay, didn’t live up to their hype. Dining room and garbage cans also not clean, but again they were shorthanded. Will visit again, just not anytime soon.

Five guys has an amazing selection of fries and burgers, and so many treats that make the family going out for a night at five guys quite the treat in and of itself

A nice change from the fast food chains of olde. Decent burgers and excellent fries. My caveat is that for the quality and environment, the price is not justified. Two people and a drink and semi-fastfood joint was over $30. Doubtful I would return here over another burger place. One with a beer selection.

I’ve been to a lot of Five Guys in my time. This one never lets me down. Friendly staff, hot fresh food. And it’s super clean. Not sure the name of the employee, but he is a taller kid with glasses. He is so energetic and happy to be here when I come in. Keep up the wonderful work everyone!
