Cool spot in a cool section of town. Food was ok and the drinks were good as always. La Fonda no matter the location is for drinks and the location. This particular one is in a kinda not as popular pocket so it’s a little better than the others in town to me. I’ll be back certainly just for the quiet ambience of the neighborhood.

Not a bad location, sandwich are pretty good as well as the rice and beans. Coffee is pretty good also as the Margaritas and Sangria. However, in the multiple times that I have been there, the chicken has always been undercooked, even showing pink/redness. That’s why I give it a 3, cause it hasn’t been once but multiple with different friends that had have the same problem!

Went with my family to have dinner at Fonda Latina. The initial odor of the restaurant was not appetizing. We sat down in a table and the server came to take order. Service at the beginning was amicable. We ordered and some entrees were good while others were not. I ordered the steak quesadilla and the steak was good. The sour cream was also cooked in the quesadilla and it had a granular sensation. My daughter ordered the salmon and it was good. The enchiladas and the steak entree were good, as my grandchildren ate it all. My wife order salmon tacos and it had a piece of plastic in it. I gave the plastic to the second server and he just took it to the Manager. Although I was not looking to take advantage of the restaurant due to the plastic found, there was no explanation or an apology from management. After the plastic incident, I had no confidence in the restaurant. I left my quesadilla and my wife left the taco.

Cuban Spanish Mexican fusion. One word “Paella”. The “for two” order will easily feed three, probably four. Lots of options on the menu. Outdoor seating available in an old gas station. A short walk through a tree lined neighborhood from the Fernbank Museum.

Visited this location for an early lunch during the week. The food and service were ok but not as good as usual. I had the paella which is served in a skillet that is normally piping hot. Today, it was warm at best, and it seemed like there was a lot more rice and a lot less chicken, shrimp, calamari and vegetables. Still, the food here is good, especially the roasted half chicken, which my lunch partner had. It’s a small restaurant in a converted gas station with a nice homey feel.

Delicious & fun! We were out for a walk on this beautiful spring Sunday afternoon and came across this great spot. We truly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio watching the world go by! Food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient! I will definitely return!

This is one of our go-to places whenever we’re traveling through Atlanta at lunch time. Friendly and fast service and always good food. Cozy atmosphere in a pretty neighborhood too. A great mix of Cuban and Mexican food served fresh. No “heat lamp” rice and beans here!
