So i’m not even from red oak, I came here to visit family and they said this new restaurant opened , so we went thinking it’s a grill. They have 2 burgers on the menu and were out of everything. You can tell that the staff hasn’t been trained properly and do not know the menu. Most of the food is mexican food and barely edible. There was no seasoning on any of the food. My grandma got the steak fajitas, and was served a pile of sliced steak on a plate. When we asked where the grilled onions and peppers were, they came back with a boat of grilled whole shallots. then when asked where the peppers are she came back with cold sliced bell peppers. We asked for some queso and we were told that they were out, but every table around us was getting queso on their food, so how could they be out? The salsa tasted like watered down tabasco said and was warm. All that to say that none of my family is going back.

First, be cautious of outdated reviews. 342 Bar & Grill opened June 2023 with a new owner. I’ve been there 3 times now; twice to eat and once just sitting in the bar area for a couple beers. The food is great and there is a variety of Mexican and American choices. My favorite so far is the Burger and the Southwest Eggrolls. Pleasant atmosphere, nice and clean accommodations. According to the owner, who seems to greet everyone when she is there, they are a work in progress and will be making updates to the interior and to the menu as they go along.

This place is 100% the worst. The salsa taste like watered down ketchup, my chicken on my salad was burned. My salad had no dressing so basically I had iceberg lettuce plain for dinner with 2 tomato slices. Never will come back here.
