Looked for a place to grab lunch off the TSP on the way to Bridgeport and went here based on the reviews. It’s within a mile of the parkway. Small, casual, comfortable atmosphere. Server was attentive and owner also came out and spoke with us about the food, which was excellent. The chicken pesto wrap, which is served warm, was the best Ive had.

Looking for a little something different on a road trip from the Capital Area. This little place pops up out of nowhere on a side highway and was a surprising little gem. Good chicken sandwich and burger.

Walking through the door, you are immediately greeted with a charming dining space. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My little ones loved the pancakes and eggs. The menu offers elevated comfort food favorites. Everything was cooked to order and very fresh. They also have a good selection of tea. I would return for dinner and to try the cocktails on the menu. Nice selection of wines and mixed drinks. Decor was clean and rustic, with a modern twist.

We were coming to Montreal from NYC. Not sure why Google maps gave us directions to take the 100N instead of staying on the I87N. Anyways, we followed a sign about food at one of the exit and stumbled by chance on This little gem.

This has to be one of my top worst places I have ever ate at in this area. We stopped here for brunch and the place was empty , not one customer on a Sunday. My gut said to turn around and leave but we were hungry so we sat down.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so comfortable but what really makes this place a great experience are the people. At the restaurant and with the food truck you really get a sense that they care about your experience and what they are doing. When I called ahead with dietary questions, Stephanie was so patient and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Such a cute and delicious little find only about a mile off the Taconic State Parkway heading towards Redhook New York. While I was traveling north I found myself a bit hungry so I pulled off the Taconic heading into red hook to grab a bite to eat when I discovered this hidden little gem.

We’ve never been before, but we will definitely be returning very soon. They took care of us promptly and quick, and continued to joke and have fun with us the entire time we were being served. I highly recommend coming and experiencing the easy going, humorous waitstaff and atmosphere!

Cider Bros Roadhouse is my new favorite pit stop off of the Taconic. They say it’s slow food but worth the wait – they exaggerated the time and undersold how good the meal was!
