This was my first time here. Some of my colleagues found this spot and we “claimed” the outside area. I had the personal pizza and chicken wings. I ended up taking it home and it was delicious on the second day. Definitely a place to visit again.

Best chicken wings on the planet. Always something cool happening. Live music, trivia contests, food and drink discounts, etc. Great staff too. I’ve visited Rochester several times a year over the past decade. A stop at Temple Bar and Grill is a must!!! … More

Was fun until my friends and I got kicked out around midnight. My friends and I were having fun and chatting near the door and they told us to leave. The slow security guard and his Minnie me told us we we were being rowdy and had to leave. We barely had anything to drink! Will never go back. Hate the night life anyways in downtown. It’s gotten so bad. And the guy checking IDs at the front door was rolling a blunt when we left so what does that tell you.

I would like to start with a special shout-out to the Bar Managers Triston & Dylan. They really are the stars of the show here.

Was casually walking through the neighborhood and stumbled upon this place. I thought it was just a regular ol’ bar with typical bar food, but it wasn’t; the menu is extensive.

This is such a wonderful spot. Great wings and sandwiches. The beer rotates, and they always have a great selection.

First beer was flat, and they replaced it with an alternative right away. It’s a dive bar (no offense meant, I love them), just unfortunately not one I’d go to again.

It was my first time going here, to celebrate my birthday, food was okay, but expensive, I ordered Onion rings, it was good, I was told that their were a pool table, that’s one of my reasons for going there, but it wasn’t, but their Karaoke is dope. They have regular customers that attend there. I went on a Saturday, it was packed. But it was fun, for the first time, next time I’ll go, I’m might just Do Karaoke myself. Overall it is a nice spot to drink and vibe, bring extra money!

Impressions on my first visit: I went to several restaurants on East Avenue to scout out some place my girlfriends and I could go for a bite and drinks before a show that would be on a Sunday afternoon at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. It was three o’clock on a Thursday afternoon, and there were about 15 or 20 people there, all eating meals. A few were having drinks but mostly people were there to eat. A nice crowd, college students, business professionals, some people with laptops, some just chatting. Blues-y music, lively but not overly loud. I ordered the Jambalaya, which the menu listed as a house specialty, and came with homemade corn bread. It was $12.99, I think, and at first I thought the price was steep but it was not — it was a VERY hearty portion and delicious and well worth it! Chock-full of shrimp, chicken, sausage and vegetables; all in right-sized pieces, and some nice heat, but not overly spicy and just the right amount of rice. The chef came out and said it was his (great aunt’s?) recipe, straight from the French Quarter. It was divine, and I’ll be back!
