Cool little diner with an interesting menu. I had the chicken & waffle, on the savory side with Cajun spiced syrup, a little different from my usual sweet overload. Good stuff! This is a lovely little spot for breakfast and lunch. The food is consistently tasty, and the wait staff is personable and efficient. There’s also outdoor seating when the weather is cooperating, and we often see cyclists enjoying a break out there. They have a nice selection to choose from, and specials as well.

I love Hi Tulip. The staff is friendly and helpful, the cook is amazing- the recent butternut and sausage soup was absolutely delicious. The servings are generous -I often take home leftovers- it’s that good! This is not your run of the mill breakfast/lunch place. The menu has unique combination that are fantastic but also offers yummy simple meals for those not yet ready to take the fusion plunge. Highly recommend you try this gem.
