Roni’s restaurant is located on Historical Goldsboro Blvd in Sanford, Florida. Owned by a young veteran, philanthropist, university graduate and community leader, Renee Hicks. She is simply amazing and an inspiration to women of all ages even in her youth. The dining experience gives you this at home feeling with its warm interior decorum, like your around family. Her tight knit family all helped her to build this business into what it is and the staff is the best. Don’t be surprised to see the owner Renee cooking or washing dishes because she works hard, compensates and works WITH her team. Thanks so much to all who continue to support Roni’s! The shrimp and grits were really good. I ordered chicken and waffles. The waffle was good but not impressive. The chicken however was so good. I don’t know how they sealed in the heat like that. I had to eat the first piece slow because it was smoking inside and the 2nd piece was just as hot once I got to it. I would definitely go back for the fried chicken.

First time patron at Roni’s and my family and I will DEFINITELY be back! Miss Betty, our server, was so congenial and pleasant! Three of us had the shrimp and grits, one had the cheeseburger and one had fish and cheese grits. The food was all amazing!! It was fresh and hot and absolutely delicious!! Cudos to the chef!!

Found our go to spot in Sanford. Food and service was great! Everyone is super friendly and the establishment is clean. I had the grilled shrimp salad. The veggies were fresh and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. My husband had the fish and grits. He huffed it down before I could take a picture. He always has something to complain about when we eat out. All he could say was “man, this is good”.
