grumpy old fart
The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars, is because I lived in a coastal city known for fabulous dining. It is without doubt one of only 2 really good places in the county to eat. The atmosphere, location and surroundings are perfect. Service is great, food is great, and the prices are about right. I eat there often, and have only had positive experiences.

Definitely not the best Mexican I have ever had. I love Mexican food but I wouldn’t go here again. My husband and I had the chicken fajitas and every Mexican restaurant I have ever been to puts guacamole on the sides plate. I ask for guacamole and was charged an additional 3.99!!!. The chicken was very dry, I had to pinch the ends off to eat it. The salsa was less than mediocre. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper…the water would only stay on like 2 seconds so that was annoying. We paid $55 and some change and I was immediately so upset that I had wasted that much money on a meal I didn’t even care for. We won’t go back.

This place was once a great Mexican restaurant. The food is generally always fresh and tasty. Service has declined since this establishment has opened. It seems that I find myself waiting long periods of time for a refill or even the opportunity to ask for one. I believe in patronizing local restaurants, but service could use some improvement.

Margaritas were very low in alcohol content. My gf didn’t even seem at all gropey after 2 of them. Usually 1 gets her started. (lol) Also salsa had no taste. Needed to add salt just to taste it at all. Cheesecake Chimichanga was large and really good. Really didn’t care for the mixture the shrimp was in, for the shrimp cocktail. Price was very reasonable though. So, it’s a’ight.

Never ever will I eat here again! My dad went and got our food and when he got back we were missing two items and we call and he says come over there and I send my son over there and he laughs in my sons face and wouldn’t give us or food, Tried to make him pay for it again! Hell with that! We are done!
