I ordered the fried catfish & shrimp. It was really good. Trip to the salad bar, was laughable. It was really just a lettuce bar with a bowl of cucumbers, croutons, & bacon bits. Hubby ordered a ribeye, and wasn’t impressed. Only 2nd time we’ve eaten there.

Update, Yanis has moved to a new location on FM 159 east of Belleville . They are now located in the restaurant that was known as the Little Red Barn. Still the same great food as before . The steaks are great and their fish is excellent. I’m posting the Shrimp Fettuccine in Marinara sauce. Wonderful! The spaghetti and meat sauce is fantastic for children or adults alike. Also pictured is blackened chicken primavera which is out of this world. The staff are fantastic. They are very helpful and on top of everything. Two of my favorite things to get here are the salad bar and their soup of the day. Their roasted Poblano soup is the best you’ll ever get. Tonight I got the broccoli cream soup which was fantastic.

They’re not closed just moved to a new location off 159. We ordered chicken fried breast w/ mashed potatoes & salad to go & it was amazing. Full of flavor & nice piece of chicken not just batter. I’ve had other things as well & it was all very good

Wow. Who would of thought this home I the wall on the side of street far far far from my house 2hr drive. Would be worth it. My co-workers talked me into trying this steakhouse off near Bellville and I was like alright… we arrived at the restaurant and I was sure if I’d enjoy what was to come… There is ample parking during the lunch time on a Friday when we went. The inside felt home like and almost Italian ? We were seated and taken cared by a new server who did a great job taking our orders and attending to us. I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak medium well with a side of fettuccine (requested it) and oh boy… it was GREAT. Supposedly they also have a salad bar and seafood buffet? Maybe I’ll try it? Nonetheless, if you happen to be driving around in the area or live in it… take advantage of this gem.

The contradiction between the shabby exterior and great food make this place something you should experience. It’s in a strip center. Looks like a dive from the outside. Inside is rustic Italian. And the food is incredible!
