A great stop. Passing through after Roaring Run Falls on our way back to Douthat, we came in 30 minutes before closing. Maria was awesome, didn’t rush us and was so kind to our kids. She is worth the five stars, but the food was awesome too. We got a couple pimento burgers, and they were cooked perfectly with a savory pimento cheese topping. Kids food was good. We sat at a chalk top table the kids could right on. They have art from locals and a cool vibe overall. A great stop all around. Worth it for interstate travelers or area visitors.

While you can get regular lunch items, this wonderful little gem offers several different options. I had the Chipotle chicken chunks in a spinach wrap. Excellent! Their bread pudding was delish! Wonderful staff. Glad, glad, glad we stopped here for lunch!

Beautiful cafe nestled in the heart of such a historic town. The staff was friendly during our private catered event, and the food was amazing (especially the mashed potatoes). Very well done. Professional and courteous. I also enjoy a place with odds and ends to peak my interest, and this place had them. Highly recommended.

I ate here today for the first time. It was amazing. Maria is a wonderful waitress, knowledgeable of all the sandwiches and salads. Very helpful with any questions we had. When the food came, what a surprise it was. Very visually appealing and so delicious. I had the Club Car Club. It was possibly the best club sandwich I have ever had. I will be back very soon. What a delightful place with great food. PS and great sweet tea!

The server was very friendly and offered a picture menu of the food so you could see what the entrees looked like. I ordered a wrap and the ingredients we’re so fresh. I ordered bread pudding for dessert and they provided a to go cup for my iced tea. All this for about $12 sure beats eating at a fast food joint. If you are in the area and need lunch stop here you will love this place.

Lovely place, Marie is charming! Food is GREAT, as the service. We had her famous Reuben which was stuffed full of lean corned beef and delicious! We’re staying longer in the area, I would definitely go back!

Today’s visit to The Club Car was different than all of my other visits. Today I shared lunch with my husband instead of all my teacher colleagues. As usual the service was excellent. Maria always greets you with a smile. Lunch was absolutely delicious and so was dessert. Today’s special dessert was Cranberry Orange Bread Pudding with Warm Vanilla Sauce. Yum! This is definitely one of my favorite places to dine in Clifton Forge, Virginia.

Maria met and greeted us at the door. She was so accommodating and helpful explaining the menu. I had a bowl of hicken noodle soup and the Palm which is chicken salad on a croissant. Excellent food and service. This Deli is located on the main street of a quaint town called Clifton Forge, Va.

I was so hungry when we ate here that I neglected to take a picture of my delicious salad. It had the freshest flavor of any salad I’ve had in ages. The homemade poppy seed dressing was heavenly. And since I ate so healthily, I had dessert. I had the swiss cake roll, which was good, but preferred my husband’s chocolate cake.
