Wow, delicious food, awesome spirits and an easy-going casual vibe. That Morel. It’s got a very earthy feel. Most food items are sourced locally.

The food was outstanding! As someone who grew up combing the hills of southwestern Wisconsin looking for Morels this place was perfect. The mushroom forward entrees were delicious. Cocktails also hit the spot. Great date night spot.

Got the Rabbit Ragout, Beef short rib, and the pork belly. Everything tasted great, but wish the portions were larger for the amount you are paying for each dish. The price was around $60 per person and we ordered 3 dishes split amongst the 2 of us.

Always a must for dinner while in Milwaukee. They have an ever changing seasonal menu with fresh ingredients and of course morels. The outside seating in the back is also a nice spot for food and drinks.

Morel seriously gave us the best meal I ever had. We tried thinking of our favorite places we’ve ever been, and my husband and I couldn’t think of anything being better. Our drinks were phenomenal, as well as the service from our server (and the staff in general)! Very knowledgeable and happy to share suggestions. The only reason I’m mad is that I didn’t come here sooner! I could have been eating their delicious food for years! While not a cheap place to eat, it’s 100% worth it, especially if it’s celebrating a special occasion or if you want to impress! The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well. I’ll be back!

A chronological review; when you make a reservation you have the opportunity to specify if you’re celebrating a special occasion. That’s thoughtful from the get-go. The building entrance has a ramp and spacious bathroom stalls (noting accessibilities). The host greeted us with his heart & made us feel very welcome. There’s bar seating, high top seating or regular tables. I loved this place so much, I’d even eat here even by myself at the bar. The kitchen is open, which displays such pride in their work. The drink selection was wide and has something for everyone. The prices are quite reasonable for the experience. I found roughly their prices on google menu before booking. The atmosphere was warm and cozy offering the fine dining experience with brevity of a relaxed environment. Our waiter was excellent as well! Now let’s talk food; the lamb starter made it onto both my and my husbands top food experiences ever. You should also know my husband doesn’t like lamb. It was that good. The details in balancing flavors in the dishes we had were nothing short of expertly crafted. The onion rings were lightly battered and were cooked to that exact ‘sweet’ spot of onions to create a salty/sweet balance. Overall every aspect of this restaurant was a home-run.

Ate here with friends last night and the four of us agreed that it was one of the best meals we’ve all had in a while. Short ribs were phenomenal. The service was just as great. I will definitely be back when back in Milwaukee.
