Of a nearly 2k drive from Chicago, this place was an unexpected gift. Kind folks from the bartender to the brewer/owner. Their style of sours is very unique in my humble opinion. They capture a Goldilocks zone of tart, sour, sweet, fruit, and in some cases spices. Their beers are going to win awards no doubt. And the ba sour is absurd in its simplexity (apologies if that sounds pretentious) as it is complex yet so approachable. It’s got a synergy of wood, fruit, sweet, and some funk walking a delicate balance to capture the palate. This beer is new glarus on ba steroids (beer nerd reference). I’m excited for a return.

I have frequented this place many of times. My wife and I had stumbled upon it when we first moved here 2 years ago. This place is so wholesome. The staff and owners treat you like family and will try to accommodate any special needs to the best of there abilities. The brews are from the heart and very balanced for how eccentric they are. The pizza rivals the beers and is there newest addition. You are missing out if you have not visited this place!

Great funky place. Wish they had a few more choices for pizzas. But what we did get was great. We’re not drinkers, non alcoholic drinks served in plastic cups, kinda weird. Services was prompt and super friendly. Parking can be tricky.

We are traveling from out of state looking for local brewery near riverside state park where we were camping. This place was awesome!! We had the Serrano artichoke dip with their breadsticks ( which are to die for) and a Caesar salad. Lots of great sours and a hazy IPA that was excellent. Loved the place. I could see making this a regular stop if we lived near by.

Our favorite brewery in town! Steve and Dawn and their entire team are incredible, love these guys! They are one of the few breweries in town that do all the styles so well and their sours are, inspiring to say the least (i.e., Raspberry Cheesecake pastry sour – it’s as good as it sounds)! Whether you want something light and crisp, hoppy and balanced, tart and complex, or dark and malty – they do it all with such passion and inventiveness. For the cherry on top, their homemade neapolitan pizzas are dynamite – chewy, a nice crunch, and delicious! We are so grateful to have a gem like this in Spokane! (P.S., they have trivia on Thursdays too!)

This is easily one of my favorite breweries in town. The flavors they pack into their beers makes each sip a literal party in your mouth. Not that I really need anything else to make me happy while I’m here, but now they serve pizza! House made dough, house made sauce, and on Wednesdays they’re $3 off. We love this place and I think you would, too!

Fantastic beer, had a flight of stouts, all were excellent. Very well made, true to style. Their barrel aged “The Father’s Love” is outstanding. Thick, smooth, balanced and nuanced.

Incredible people, really good beer and pizza. Steve is a great guy and makes a stellar pizza. They just started offering pizzas, and I can assure you they have some of the best crust I have ever had on a pizza. My family and we got the Supreme, Spicy Thai and Pro Figgy pizzas. I had a Spruce Juice ale, which is one of the few light beers I like. For the love of God, support this brewery.

Great atmosphere for hanging out and having a beer. I tried the Guava Guava sour, Strawbarb Pie sour and the Dem Bluebs Is Mint IPA. All three were excellent. I am definitely going back and next time I’m going to try the pizza.

We went for the first time today. They were great! Even though it was pretty busy the staff were amazing! Had their cauliflower crust pizza and my husband, who normally doesn’t care for them, actually really liked it! We will definitely be going again!
