I had a fried catfish plate and it was so full I couldn’t eat it all. Fried fish, fries, hush puppies, slaw, and tartar sauce all homemade. I don’t usually eat tarter sauce but I eat their’s. Onion rings are so big and great too.

Simply the best local food PERIOD!!. Let’s just put it this way everything there that you’d expect from a restaurant they have it and then some, from the cleanliness of the establishment, to the courteousness of the waitresses, down to the food I mean there’s nothing to complain about it is definitely worth the money and time to give it a try.

I called in an order of 2 bacon cheeseburger baskets, a corn dog basket and hamburger basket and a chefs salad for me and the grandsons. I waited about 15 minutes before I headed out because they said 20 minutes.

I have never had such horrible food in my life. I went there a lot when it was mitchems and could not complain at all. Today I ordered a hamburger basket with potatoe wedges, The bun fell apart in my hands the contents went everywhere and don’t get me started on the wedges they were burned hard on the outside and not done on the inside. Was a waste of 9 dollars never eat there again. Should have known just to drive to Tri County.

I’ve been a customer at Northbrook for a while now and to begin with they did a great job. Over the last few months it’s been a totally different story, the food is never the way I ordered it. The cook’s just don’t care if it’s right or not. I’ve complained to the cashier and the waitress over and over and they just apologize and nothing ever gets fixed. If I could give it a lower rating I would. Avoid this place if you’re smart.
