The pizza was !!!Order 3 slices of pizza to go. The only thing I didn’t like was putting the pizza on a paper plate and putting it inside of the bag after riding in the car the pizza was crushed, after I was able to get it back straight the taste of it wasn’t upset at all. Will definitely be coming back.

OMG… I was so thrilled when one of my favorite Austin pizza joints open up a spot in Houston. Today was my first day to go and I was so excited. The atmosphere was electric and it was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy some slices of Home Slice Pizza. Shout out to Charles and Heather for their impeccable service. It gotten Breezy and we were hoping our pizza slices would be hotter, they took them back and actually came back with very hot fresh slices. They even offered us a few extras and kept coming to check on us throughout our time there. I honestly haven’t had service like that in a long time. You could tell they really wanted you to have a good time and enjoy being there. If you haven’t gone yet you’ve got to go. You won’t be sorry.

if you’re a cold sandwich fan the italian sub here is so good. perfectly toasted bread w fresh ingredients. would add olives next time i ordered a whole and split it and it was really filling!

Great pizza. Some of the best in Houston. Love that you order by the pie or by the slice. Restaurant is cleverly decorated and has a small indoor seating area and a larger outdoor seating area. Parking is very tight … during busy times you’ll likely have to park on the street.

So happy they opened up a home slice in Houston! I really like the custom pizzas. I like that they give u a bunch of marinara sauce if you order it. The pizza isn’t the best pizza in the world but it’s pretty good and big! NY style. I do wish it had just a tad bit more cheese. I will also say that it is not really good as leftover pizza. The pizza gets too hard. Other than that it’s good and the take out is really good too. Big bag to go with paper plates, chili pepper, Parmesan if you ask.

Pizza was really good and at a solid price too. You have to like some more sharp cheeses on your pizza though. If you just want it cheesy but with less flavor from your cheese, this is not your spot based on what I had. Overall the crust was good and the Sicilian crust was thick but light and airy like you want.

An Austin pizzeria in Houston. I forgot how fantastic this pizza is, been a minute since I’ve had Home Slice in Austin. Sauce to cheese ratio is well balanced, crust is crisp but slice still has some flop where you have to fold it to eat it. Don’t judge it by the slices that are reheated. Order a fresh pie to truly enjoy how delicious it is.
