I like the decor and atmosphere. The food is great and the place usually isn’t terribly crowded, the one time it was packed there was what looked to be a family gathering being held there for a birthday. Servers are always friendly! The food comes out wicked fast, especially if you choose one of the boil dinners (the best option and messiest). I barely finished my salad before my fried seafood platter came out though, so I’d say their cooks are back there making the food happen!

Next door, adjoining Regal cinema…that will be all that keeps this place alive! Wednesday at 6p.m., quiet and slow… yet we received our cold served shrimp and then our bowl of gumbo and were still waiting on 1 margarita and 1 beer. Shrimp were large and fresh, but had zero seasoning, making them very bland. Served with a processed, sealed / to-go type cocktail sauce. The gumbo was fairly tasty…what there was of it. A heap of rice was placed on top, as is customary, but also allowed for very little gumbo underneath. Due to the slow service and general ambience, we decided to only share an app and gumbo, one drink each, and leave. There was a marquis standing just past hostess stand, as you enter the dining area, noting Happy Hour Sun-Thur 3-7. Our bill arrived with full prices. When questioned, the bill came back showing a $1 discount on my cocktail, even though it was noted as $2 off. The waitress was unaware of Happy Hour specifics. And finally, restrooms had not been cleaned and had no paper towels. Had heard good things about the other location on Woodruff Rd. near Sam’s. But at this point, I would hesitate to even try, after this experience.

The restaurant was clean, and the food was good. There was no wait I think because it was a Tuesday and not a weekend. My wife had the seafood boil and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were really good.

We had a reservation for a party of 16 on a Thursday night. The waitress was nice but service was very slow and there wasn’t a huge crowd. There was one other dinner party also. Besides our 2 groups there were only a few other patrons. After the waitress took our order, it took about an hour to get our food. We were starved so we had to order some appetizers after the fact. I just expected that the waitress would have checked in a little more during our wait and that the food would have been out sooner. If they were short staffed, which has been a problem with other restaurants since the pandemic, no one said so. Other than the slow service, everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was very nice.

The. Worst. Service. Slow as Christmas. Food was good. I won’t be back. First and last time. Diana was our waitress. Dropped my Togo cup on the floor, and went to hand it to me to use. Absolutely NOT. 54 degrees outside and air on full blast. Got there at 3:25 and left at 5.

The staff was great; very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice. The food was mediocre at best. The shrimp didn’t have much flavor, the fish was underdone, and the fries were cold. Also, the women’s restroom smelled bad enough to make you want to vomit. Needless to say, I DON’T recommend this establishment.

The first warning of how this place was going to be should have been the sign about parties of 6 or more having to put a credit card on file incase someone walked out.

Went for a Father’s Day dinner with the family. 4 adults 2 kids. Our server Tayler was awful from start to finish. First the terrible smelling marker to write her name was very unpleasant very unappetizing. It took over 10 mins and 3 trips to get our drinks, our appetizer arrived a minute before our dinner even though our appetizer order was taken 10 minutes before giving our entree order which our order had three orders of snow crab. When it came out we didn’t get any crab cracker or scissors. We looked for our server and she was in the kitchen licking her fingers. I had to get another server to bring the things we needed. We also were not given enough forks which are plastic not ideal for crab. When tayler saw us asking for things from another server she immediately stopped taking care of us or checking on us. If the restaurant doesn’t have enough tools for customers to use for crab at a crab house then order more than enough. Then to have them add 20% tip on awful service was the final straw. They gave us a 15$ gift card and idk why because we definitely won’t be back to use it anyway. This place will be closed before the end of the year hopefully. The manager offered no explanation and I’m sure the server will face zero consequences for this restaurant losing future profits.

Absolutely delicious also loved the waitress that new when to come and knew when to pretend to not notice us tearing those crabs apart, like absolutely demolishing them. We had their garlic butter sauce and signature sauce both great in their own ways
